The Ambala Institute of Hotel Management, a centre of excellence, established in 2019 with zeal to impart education and to meet the needs of the hospitality industry keeping in mind the skill development towards hospitality. It is an autonomous body and is registered as an Educational Society under Societies Act 1860. The institute, with a campus area of over 6.5 acres, has emerged as a leading training institution in North India in a short time. Students of the previous batch have made their presence felt throughout the country.
It has properly laid out block with approx. 1,35,000 Sq Ft covered area including academic block, Modern Training Kitchens & Restaurants with most modern equipments, front office lab, house keeping lab, bakery,confectionery,laundry,computer lab,administrative block, , separate hostel facilities for boys and girls, auditorium, staff quarters, guest house, playgrounds and other facilities to make the institute an ideal educational centre. National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (Society) was set up in the year 1982 by Govt. of India as an autonomous body for coordinated growth and development of hospitality management education in the country. Initially, the Council was set up in the name of National Board of Studies in Food Management, Catering & Nutrition under the administrative control of Ministry of Agriculture (Deptt. Of Food) a
Training & Placement cell plays a very crucial role in shaping the career of Aspirants of any institute. We at Ambala institute of Hotel Management has an active cell who is dedicated round the year to train and prepare our aspirants to face interviews of various 5 star hotels in India as well as abroad. The placement team is also continuously working in maintaining professional relations with the Human Resource team of Hotels in India and abroad. Placements for the Final year students begin early September and continue till March thereby ensuring maximum advantage to the students. The Training and Placement Department facilitates on campus recruitment by giving a common platform to students seeking jobs, and ensuring 100% Placements for them.
