ATMA: A Simple and Easy MBA Entrance Test
To appear in ATMA Exam, you do not require any specific prior knowledge of business or other subject areas. The Test is designed to assess the aptitude of the students for Higher Management Education and primarily consists of sections on verbal, quantitative and analytical reasoning skills.
ATMA is Conducted by AIMS
The Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) conduct ATMA exam. The test is conducted three to four times in a year in the months of February, May (this year postponed to June 20) and July.
ATMA is a Computer Based Test
ATMA is conducted in computer based format in single sitting on a particular date of the month. Candidates have to appear in ATMA Exam on a single day in a single session.
3 Hours Exam
ATMA test paper has a time duration of 3 hours. It has 180 objective type questions in MCQs form and the Question difficulty level is easy to moderate. The test paper is divided in 6 sections with 30 questions in each section. Merit Score in ATMA is calculated on the basis of all the 6 sections.
ATMA is an easier exam as compared to other MBA entrance exams like CAT, XAT, CMAT and others. ATMA 2020 score will be valid for MBA admission 2020 in more than 200 MBA colleges in India. ATMA exam application can be submitted online only.

ATMA Eligibility 2020
ATMA 2020 May exam eligibility criteria for the ATMA 2020 Exam is graduation in any stream. ATMA eligibility for MBA admission in a management institute depends upon the Eligibility Criteria as prescribed by the MBA college you are applying to. Each Section Split into Two Parts: This is unique about ATMA exam pattern. The composition of the exam is such that the 6 sections cover the questions on 3 sections. The 60 questions on each section are divided into 2 sections. Your ATMA exam preparation for one section therefore, covers the questions in two sections without extra effort.
Individually Timed Sections in ATMA Exam: All the 6 sections in ATMA exam pattern are individually timed. A time limit of 30 minutes is prescribed for each section with 30 questions. Candidates cannot skip and go to other section during the time limit specified for the section.
Uniform Marking Scheme: For each correct or best answer, you will get a score of +1 mark in ATMA 2020 exam. For any question not answered, a zero score will be given
¼ Negative Marking: Each wrong answer in ATMA exam attracts 25% negative marking. A deduction of 0.25 mark will be made for each incorrect answer.
Moderate Difficulty Exam: ATMA pattern favours a moderate difficulty level instead of high difficulty exam. Barring a few questions, majority of the questions in ATMA exam has moderate difficulty level as against IIMs-CAT and XLRI-XAT exams

ATMA May 2020 Exam Registration can be completed in following three steps:
Step-1: Pay Fee
- Click on Apply and a window for fee payment will open asking for your personal details like Name, Date of Birth, City Name, Mobile Number, E-Mail ID
- Fill complete and correct details in the form and proceed for ATMA Fee payment as instructed.
- A Fee concession of 25% for women applicants and of 50% for North Eastern State category candidates is available in the Fee Payment Form with drop down menu. If you belong to any of the two categories, you can avail it.
