What is KIITEE ?
KIITEE is a national level examination which is conducted by the KIIT University, Bhubaneswar to grant admissions into undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) engineering courses.
KIIT Entrance Examination is conducted by the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), which is a University-level entrance exam taken by the aspirants seeking admission into various Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses every year. Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) has KIIT School of Management (KSOM) which will conduct an entrance exam for MBA course, known as KITEE MGT – KIIT Entrance Exam for Management or KIIT Management Entrance Exam.
Except for admission into BDS, MBBS, PG Dental and Medical courses, the KIITEE scores are considered valid for admission into courses related to Computer Applications, Technology, Science, Management etc. However, candidates can apply for BDS, MBBS, PG Dental and Medical courses offered at KIIT on the basis of NEET scores.
Every year, the KIITEE application forms are released in the month of November which goes on till the end of March in next year. The KIITEE exam is usually conducted in the month of April, between third and last week to be precise and the result is declared within a week after the conclusion of the KIITEE exam.Â

KIITEE 2020 Eligibility
The eligibility criteria for KIITEE 2016 is as follows:
Candidates applying for B.Tech(4 Years) & Dual Degree Programme Course should fulfill the following criteria.
Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), Bhubaneswar will prescribe the eligibility criteria of KIITEE 2020. Candidates applying for the exam have to fulfil certain conditions to become eligible for appearing in the KIITEE 2020 examination. The parameters of KIITEE 2020 eligibility include age limit, academic history, qualifying examination, subjects and marks obtained by the candidates. They will become eligible to fill the application form of KIITEE 2020 based on all these factors. The KIITEE 2020 eligibility criteria have been described here in a subject-wise manner. KIITEE 2020 Application Procedure
- Browse KIIT official webiste
- Select ‘Online Application’/‘Download’ option. (If you want to download, take the print out of downloaded Application Form’).
- Go through the Instructions to fill up the form.
- Fill up ‘Online Application Form’ and submit.
- Take the print out of Application Form mentioning the Registration Number.
- Paste the Photographs in the space provided for it.
- Sign on ‘Signature’ columns both by candidate and parent/guardian.
- Dispatch the Form along with two passport size photographs pasted in appropriate place and 10th Pass Certificate/Mark sheet.
KIITEE 2020 Admit Card
KIITEE 2016 Admit Card will be available from March 31, 2016 to April 5. Candidates can download KIITEE 2016 Admit Card from this page through the link/window below. Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) will not dispatch KIITEE 2016 Admit Card or by any other means.
KIITEE 2020 admit card will be released by KIIT University for the registered candidates. The admit card of KIITEE 2020 will be available on the official website of KIIT University. In order to download the 2020 KIITEE admit card, candidates have to log in with their application number, gender and date of birth.
KIITEE admit card 2020 will display the name of the candidate, admit card number, KIITEE 2020 exam centre address, reporting time and duration of the test. How to Download KIITEE Admit Card 2020
In order to download the KIITEE admit card 2020, candidates have to follow the steps given below:

Enter login credentials like KIITEE 2020 Registration number and Date of Birth and click on the ‘Continue’ button.

KIITEE 2020 Exam Pattern
- KIITEE 2016 Question Paper shall comprise of three sections – Physics, Chemistry and Maths with 40 questions each.
- Questions will be objective type and based on Class 12th syllabus prescribed by CBSE.
- The exam is for 3 hours.
- Each correct answer will be awarded 4 marks and for every wrong answer 1 mark shall be deducted from total scored and zero marks for an unattended question.
- If the candidate shall respond with more than one answer for a question, the answer will also be treated as wrong and the candidate will be liable for negative marks for the very question.

KIITEE 2020 Counseling Details
KIITEE 2020 Result
KIITEE 2020 result will be released online by KIIT University. The result will be declared only for those who will successfully appear for KIITEE 2020 examination. Candidates can view their KIITEE 2020 result with the help of their Application Number & D.O.B. The final merit list will include the overall marks obtained in the KIITEE 2020 examination.
The KIITEE 2020 scorecard and rank card of the candidates will be disclosed through the result of KIITEE 2020 examination. KIITEE 2020 Merit List
The conducting body of the exam i.e., Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology will prepare separate merit lists for M.Tech, B.Tech and B.Tech Lateral Entry courses. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks scored by the candidates in the Entrance Examination. At the time of the declaration of KIITEE 2020 result, the University will fix cut-off qualifying marks. The cut-off marks will depend upon the merit list of KIITEE 2020. Candidates who score above the cut-off marks will be notified to appear for the counselling process of KIITEE 2020. The cut-off will also depend upon the availability of seats in different courses offered by KIIT University.Â
Tie-Break Policy – KIITEE 2020
In the case of obtaining equal marks of two or more candidates, the inter-merit of such candidates will be as follows:
- For B.Tech programme: Based on secured marks in Physics, then in Mathematics subject & then from age. The preference will be given to older candidates.
- For B.Arch programme: Based on secured marks in NATA.
- For B.Tech (Lateral Entry) programme: Based on the secured score in Mathematics subject, then in basic electrical engineering subject. Preference will be given to older candidates.
- For B.Sc. Nursing programme: Based on the secured marks in Biology subject, preference given to the Chemistry subject. Preference will be given to older candidates.
- For Bachelor in Design (Fashion/Textile)/ BBA/ BCA/ Bachelor in Film & Television Production / B.Sc.LLB / BA.LLB/ BBA LLB/ Master of Mass Communication (5-year) programmes: Based on the secured marks in Mathematical Ability subject, then in Analytical Ability subject, then in English subject. Preference will be given to older candidates.
- For B.Tech/ M.Tech Biotechnology Dual Degree programme: Based on the secured marks in Biology subject, then in Chemistry subject. Preference will be given to older candidates
- For MCA/MCA (Lateral entry) programme: Based on the secured marks in Computer Awareness subject, then in Mathematics subject. Preference will be given to older candidates.
- For M.Tech programme: Preference will be given to older candidates.
- For M.Sc. (Applied Microbiology/Biotechnology) programme: Based on the secured marks in Biology subject, then Chemistry subject, then in Mathematics subject. The Preference will be given to older candidates.
- For LLM programme: Preference will be given to older candidates.
KIITEE 2020 Cut-off
After the announcement of the result, KIIT University will prepare the KIITEE 2020 cut-off list on the basis of marks secured by the candidates. By knowing the KIITEE 2020 cut-off, candidates can get an idea of their chances of getting admission in the desired stream. KIIT University will fix the cut-off qualifying mark at the time of KIITEE result announcement. KIITEE cut-off 2020 ranks for the counselling will be notified to the candidates depending on the availability of seats in different courses. Candidates shall be called for KIITEE counselling if they have a rank above cut-off rank.
