Maharashtra MBA Common Entrance Test
What is MAH CET?
The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MAH CET) 2017 has been conducted in a 2-day window in computer based mode on March 4 and 5, 2017. MAH CET 2017 scores are accepted for admissions to Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Management Studies (MMS) and Post Graduate Diploma Course in Management (PGDM) programmes. The test was conducted on March 12 and 13 across its centers. The officials have announced the Results prior to its schedule.

MAH CET 2020 Eligibility
It is important for the students to check their eligibility criteria before applying for the test. Aspirants aiming to appear for MAHCET 2017 must be graduates in any discipline from a recognized institute or Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (45% for reserved category).
The application fee for MAH CET 2017 is Rs.1000 for General category candidates and Rs. 800 for reserved category candidates.
Online application form processing fees is
1. Rs. 1000/- for General Category Maharashtra State, Out side Maharashtra State and J&K Migrant candidates.
2. Rs. 800/- for Reserved Category & Physically Handicapped Candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only (i.e. Candidates having relevant backward class Caste Certificate and other applicable certificates issued by Maharashtra State authorities).
B. Payment of fees for Online application form may be done by the following two modes
- e – Challon* to be submitted in any branch of Axis Bank Ltd in India (Generated online at the time of registering for CET)
- e-payment* of the application processing fees, through net banking/Credit Cards/Debit Cards at the website www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in/mba2015
MAH CET 2020 Admit Card
The admit card was available for download. The MAH CET Admit Card or Hall Ticket has to be downloaded online by entering the MAHCET Registration Number and date of birth or Password generated during the application process. The admit cards will only be available for the registered candidates. No hard copy of the admit card will be sent to the candidates, hence, the test takers must take a print out of the admit card before appearing for the exam.
MAH CET 2020 Exam Pattern
There had been a few changes in the MAH CET 2017 pattern.The four sections of the test had a fixed number of questions. The test comprised of multiple choice objective type questions with Five Options to answer from. There was no negative marking System for this test. TheTest Duration was 150 Minutes and the Medium of the test will be English. The mode of the test will be Online.

MAH CET 2020 Syllabus
MAH-MBA /MMS CET comprises of three sections – verbal ability, reading comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude, Logical and Abstract reasoning. The contents are described in detail as follows:
VARC: This section covers multiple sections like – reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, sentence completion, synonyms and antonyms.
QA: Questions based on quantitative reasoning, numbers, ratio. proportion, percentage and interpretation of tables, common graphs and charts.
Logical and Abstract reasoning: Questions are based on figures,diagrams and verbal reasoning.

MAH CET 2020 Counseling Details
CAP Rounds I& II:
Direct Allotment Allotment of seats for Home University seats and State level seats for other university candidates coming under CAP is carried out as per the logic explained in the rule 6.1.3. Stage-I and Stage-II shall be used for
CAP Round –I. Stage-I, Stage-II, Stage-III, Stage-IV, Stage-V, Stage-VI and Stage-VII shall be used for CAP Round II. The seat tag i.e. Reserved, PH, HU, OHU etc. shall be maintained till Stage-V of
CAP Round-II. The number of the available seats for admission, type of seat tag etc. will be made available to the eligible candidates before filling up of the option form for CAP Rounds I & II.
CAP Round III- Admission by Centralized Counseling: CAP Round-III of admission will be conducted only for eligible Maharashtra State Candidates whose names have appeared in Maharashtra State Merit list (subject to eligibility of participation as set out in the Annexure-I). During this round of admission by Counseling, no seat tag will be applied i.e. seats available shall be treated as GENERAL seats and shall be allotted solely on the basis of inter-se merit of eligible MS candidates without any reference whatsoever to the category of the candidate(s) (open /reserved) or the category to which the vacant seat belongs (such as Home University, other than Home University, Backward Class, Physically Handicapped etc) and also all the vacant All India Level Seats shall be treated as GENERAL seats and will be offered to MS candidates.
MAH CET 2020 Selection Procedure
The final selection of the candidates will be through counselling rounds. Some B-schools like JBIMS conducts its own selection process including Group Discussion/Written Ability Test and Personal Interview. But for other B-Schools, candidates have to follow their counselling rounds as per their ranks. After the announcement of the results, the officials will start the counselling cum selection procedure. It is expected that the process will start from the month of May 2017.
