MDU CEE 2020 Exam

Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak organises entrance exams for admission to various Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral courses.

MDU entrance exam is organised separately for B.Pharm, M.F.A (6 years), M.Sc, M.Com, M.P.Ed, MBA 2-year, M.A courses. These entrance exams are organised every year by MDU and on the basis of the entrance tests, admission is granted to the aspirants. There is a common entrance test for all the M.Sc & M.Pharm courses, which will be organised in the month of June. ​Admission to B.Tech course is done on the basis of HSTES counselling as well as a valid score in JEE Main. M.Tech admission is based on a valid GATE score.

MDU CEE 2020 Eligibility Criteria

MDU entrance test 2020 eligibility criteria will be prescribed by the exam conducting authority. Applicants have to check the MDU entrance test 2020 eligibility norms prior to filling the application form. The eligibility criteria of MDU entrance test 2020 will differ from course to course, therefore, applicants must carefully go through the eligibility norms. Mentioned below are the eligibility norms that applicants must check in order to appear for the entrance exam.

  • Students should have a Bachelor’s degree/Shastri examination (New Scheme) of three years duration with at least 45% for (M.A (all branches), Law, M.F.A (6 year), M.Com) and 50% for M.Sc (all branches) marks in aggregate or any other examination recognised by M.D. University, Rohtak as equivalent thereto.

  • M.P.Ed: Candidates should have passed B.P.Ed. 1 year, 2 years and 3 years with at least 55% marks in aggregate.

  • B.Pharm and M.Sc. (Hons.): Applicants should have 5-Year Integrated Mathematics:- 10+2 examination of the Board of School Education, Bhiwani or any other Board/University, recognised by this University, with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with any one of the subjects, viz. Mathematics/Biology/Biotechnology/ Computer Science securing 50% marks in the above subjects taken together.

MDU CEE 2020 Exam Pattern

  • MDU entrance exam 2020 will be a pen and paper-based test.

  • The medium of instruction that will be used in MDU entrance exam question paper will be English as well as Hindi.

  • Every entrance exam paper will carry 100 objective/multiple types of questions.

MDU CEE 2020 Result

The MDU entrance test results 2020 are expected to be announced during July first week in 2020. The result of the MDU entrance exam is usually available in online mode on the official website of MDU. Candidates should note that no hard copies of the result are dispatched. After the declaration of MDU entrance test results, the merit list of candidates is published as per the marks secured by them. 

To access the MDU CEE result for 2020, the candidates have to visit the official website with the help of the link provided here – http://mdu.ac.in/.  The MDU CEE 2020 result which will be released in online mode will be available to the test-takers in PDF format. Only those candidates can apply for the subsequent stage of the admission process whose name appears in the 2020 MDU CEE scorecard. The rest of the candidates will be debarred from taking part in any of the further admission processes. 

Based on the scores obtained by the candidates in the MDU CEE 2020 entrance exam, the eligible candidates will be called for the MDU CEE 2020 counselling process and later seats will be allocated to them once the candidates tick all the boxes. Steps to Download MDU CEE 2020 Result

  • Log on to the official website of MDU University.
  • Click on the ‘Result’ tab.
  • Then, click on the tab indicating the ‘MDU Entrance Test 2020 Result’.
  • Enter your Registration No/ User IDRoll NumberMobile Number, and Password, which is available on your admit card.
  • After providing the requisite details, click on the ‘Submit’ tab.
  • After that, you will be directed to the next page wherein the MDU entrance test 2020 result will appear on your screen.
  • Then, click on the ‘Save‘ tab for downloading the result.
  • Take a print-out and keep a copy of the result in your system for future reference.

MDU CEE 2020 Cut-off

MDU cut-off will be released in online mode on the official website of University. The university issues the cut-off list before the counselling process. MDU 2020 cut-off will be the minimum score obtained by the candidates to qualify the entrance examination. The MDU 2020 cut-off will be different for different streams and colleges. Other than this, MDU cut-off depends on various factors such as:

  • Total number of candidates who appeared in the exam

  • Number of candidates who successfully qualified the exam

  • Total number of vacant seats

  • Difficulty level

  • Marks/Rank secured by the candidates

  • Participating colleges/institutes seats
