KKR & KSR INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND SCIENCES, popularly known as KITS was established in the year 2008, by GSR & KKR EDUCATIONAL SOCIETY in Vinjanampadu village, Vatticherukuru Mandal of Guntur district by Sri.Koye Subba Rao, Chairman. KITS is located away from the hustle and bustle of the city life in a scenic and serene environment spread over an expansive 10.9425 acres amidst the lush greenery of mirch and cotton fields of Vinjanampadu Village just 5 kms away from Guntur, the major city of the capital region of Andhra Pradesh. The institute has set a benchmark in providing its students the very best in terms of infrastructure and faculty. The college meticulously implements quality policy. KKR & KSR Institute of Technology and Sciences – [KITS], Guntur offers Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) program in five different specializations, namely Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Computer Science and Engineering.

The duration of the B.Tech program is four years.
The total number of seats allocated for the B.Tech program is 660.

Admission to the B.Tech program is done on the basis of rank secured in the Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET) examination conducted by the JNTUK.

Admission to the B.Tech program is also done through National Level Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main), conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

At the postgraduate level, KKR & KSR Institute of Technology and Sciences offers Master of Technology (M.Tech) degree programmes to its students in four domains such as Power Electronics and Drives, VLSI, Computer Science and Engineering and Digital Electronics & Communication Systems.

The duration of all the M.Tech courses is two years.
The total number of seats allocated for the M.Tech program is 126.

Admission to the M.Tech program is done on the basis of merit primarily through Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (AP PGECET) which is conducted by Andhra University, Visakhapatnam on behalf of APSCHE.

Admission is also done through National Level GATE (Graduate Aptitude Technical Examination) conducted jointly by Indian Institute of Science (IISC) and Indian Institute of Technology (IITs).
