Raghu Engineering College (REC), Visakhapatnam was established in the year 2001. The campus spreads over 50 acres of land. REC gained the autonomous status by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The College offers undergraduate (B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering) and postgraduate (M.Tech in CAD / CAM, Computer Science Engineering, Software Engineering, Embedded Systems, Power Electronics) courses. REC is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.

Raghu Engineering College B.Tech Admission 2022

At undergraduate level, Raghu engineering college (REC) offers Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) to the candidates who wish to pursue their career in the field of Engineering. The courses are offered for four years. Intake capacity depends upon the nature of specializations opted by the candidates.

Students interested in admission at REC should keep in mind following facts about eligibility:

At first, students needs to pass their 10+2 level or equivalent in concerned subjects with minimum required marks set by the college. The eligible candidates are then required to appear in Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) conducted by the Govt. of Telangana State or JEE Main.
EAMCET Registrations starts from February. The application mode is online with an application fee of Rs. 450/-

Raghu Engineering College M.Tech Admission 2022

Master of Technology (M.Tech) is offered by the Raghu engineering college at postgraduate level. The college offers M.Tech in 5 different specializations for a duration of two years.

Candidates who are willing to take up Master of Technology (M.Tech), will have to appear in General Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). When GATE Candidates are not available, admission will be given to TS PGECET qualified candidates on merit basis.
Admissions through TS PGECET requires online registration. The results shall be declared in last week of June.

Admission Process for B.Tech and M.Tech

Admission is completely based on merit computed on the basis of marks secured in qualifying examination and rank/merit in JEE-Main/EAMCET/GATE/PGECET.

A merit list will be announced for eligible candidates at the end of each round. The shortlisted candidates will be asked to appear for Counselling and the candidate, subject to fulfillment of requisite conditions and verification of documents, will be issued provisional admission offer and asked to deposit fee by the stipulated date.

If candidates fail to pay the fee by the stipulated date mentioned by the institution, the admission would be deemed canceled and seat would become vacant for the next round of Counselling.

If there are any unfilled seats, they will be filled on the basis of rolling Counselling(First come first serve basis).

Hostel- Raghu Engineering College has two separate hostels for both boys and girls. The hostels have accommodation capacity of around 500 and 200 respectively. Various facilities like centrally air-conditioned rooms and dining, centrally air-condition gym, 24 hrs Wifi access with a transmitter on every floor, RO purified drinking water plant are provided to the students.
