You can experience walls full of treadmills and elliptical machines, few “weight-lifting” machines, a room for low-impact cardio aerobic classes and a section in the back or upstairs for the free weights. You will find all these and many more in the BIT Campus itself.

Central Library have separate issue section as first floor with 2095 sq. meter space, which contain approx. 55,000 books in various discipline of engineering, sciences, computer application, management and IS Codes approximate number 1230 etc. The section opens from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm for every user (Monday-Friday) and 8.00 am to 2.15 pm on Saturday.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.

The Auditorium of BIT was inaugurated in 2006. From then on it is responsible for hosting seminars, music shows and other activities. BITCON, the national conference is hosted in the Auditorium.

In-house Clinical consultation and first-aid facility is available to the students. The Institute has a separately appointed Medical Officer for the Boys’ Hostel and a Lady Medical Officer for the Girls’ Hostels. They are available on regular basis at the Dispensary in the Institute premises for the inmates of the Boys’ Hostel and in the Girls’ Hostels Offices for the inmates of the Girls’ Hostels respectively. Should the need arise, two major hospitals are in the vicinity within 3 kms. from BIT campus. They are ‘Jawaharlal Nehru Hospital & Research Center’ and ‘Chandulal Chandrakar Memorial Hospital’. These hospitals are operative all the 24 hours every day. First aid Kits are available in all the departments, sections and offices of BIT.

We, at BIT, enjoy being hi-tech. That is why, we are proud that BIT became the first wireless campus of Chhattisgarh State, years before most people had even heard of the technology. As Chhattisgarh’s first hi-tech smart campus, BIT has 110 Mbps Internet Lease Lines from two different ISPs for internet connectivity. All blocks are interconnected through a highly secured Network, where over more than 1,000 PCs are connected to the internet through broadband connections whilst 4 hi-end servers power the BIT network.
