Ashoka University was founded in 2014 and located in Sonepat, Haryana. It is a private research university. The university has received recognition from the University Grants Commission (UGC), the Government of Haryana and the Government of India. The main campus of Ashoka University is spread over an area of 25 acres. Ashoka University offers different undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes with various specializations. The Institute offers major as well as minor degree courses. Currently, the university has 7 academic centres that offer research-oriented collaborations.

Ashoka University Facilities
The university campus has all the necessary facilities and infrastructure that are required to provide a convenient environment for the students. Ashoka University Sonepat facilities and infrastructure are modern and updated. The varsity has a library with modern facilities, separate accommodation facilities for boys’ and girls’ students, gym, auditorium etc. The campus of the university has Wi-Fi connectivity as well. Ashoka University sports facilities are football ground, cricket pitch, volleyball court, basketball court etc. For the safety of students, the university has CCTV cameras for surveillance. - Boys Hostel
The university has fully furnished and air-conditioned accommodation facilities for boys’ students at the campus. The boys’ hostel has a laundry, gym, indoor sports facilities etc. The hostel is managed by the warden.
- Girls Hostel
Ashoka University Sonepat has a separate hostel for girls’ students. The girls’ hostel has all the basic amenities like gym, reading room, mess etc. All the rooms of the girls’ hostel are fully furnished and air-conditioned.
- Gym
The university has a well-equipped gym for the students. The gym has the latest equipment and students can workout at the gym as per convenience.
- Library
The library of the university is open 24*7. It has an ample number of books, journals and magazines for students and faculty members. A digital library is also available with lots of ebooks and e-journals.
- Sports
A football ground, synthetic basketball court, athletic track, cricket pitch, volleyball court, synthetic tennis court, shooting range, two squash courts, pool and table tennis tables and an indoor sports hall is available at the Ashoka University Sonepat campus for students. All the grounds and courts have floodlights installed as well.
- Cafeteria
The university has numerous cafes and tuck shops. Some of the cafes and shops are open at night as well. The food offered is delicious, healthy and affordable.
- Auditorium
The varsity has a seminar hall that has an accommodation capacity of 240 people. All the events like seminars, guest lectures are held at the seminar hall.

The entire campus of Ashoka University Sonepat has wifi connectivity. The wifi is available at hostels and playgrounds as well.
