Green Hills Engineering College offers B.Tech course of four-year duration with 6 specializations. The CSE and EE branches have a capacity of 60, CE and ME have a capacity of 90, and IT & EC has an intake of 30 in each.
Students who have passed 10+2 with physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects and anyone out of these as an optional subject Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, technical vocational subject and have scored minimum 45% marks (40% for SC, St candidates) from a recognized Board are considered eligible to get admission to B.Tech course.
Also, those applicants who are seeking admission to B.Tech Lateral Entry must have completed three-year Diploma in Engineering with at least 55% marks (50% for the reserved category) from the State Board of Technical Education, Himachal Pradesh and are domicile of HP are considered eligible to get admission.
85% seats in the course are filled through JEE Main followed by Himachal Pradesh Technical University through state-level counselling and the remaining 15% seats are filled under management quota on the basis of candidate’s merit in the qualifying examination. Admission to B.Tech LTE course is given directly on the basis of their eligibility and marks scored in Diploma course.
