The LIC has one of the finest collections of the latest engineering and management publications. The College has a Central Library and separate reference libraries for MBA and MCA. The Central library is operating in a three-storeyed building where separate reference and stack rooms are provided. The college has added state-of-the-art Sun Blade TM servers to our Campus Infrastructure. The Sun blade chassis 6000 consists of 4 number X6250 blade servers with a total capacity of 10 blades. Each blade consists of Two Quad-Core Intel (R) Xeon(R) L5430 Processor, (2x6MB L2, 2.66 GHz, 1333MHz FSB, 50W) with 4 GB PC2-5300 DDR2 RAM. Three of the blades run on Debian 5.0 GNU/Linux and one blade on Windows Server 2003 (64 bit). All the campus automation projects, staff & students` logins, campus intranet, etc will be hosted on these servers. CSE departmentCSE department has well-equipped computer laboratories with more than 800 systems and a High-Performance Computing Centre for research and project activities. CSI student branch has consecutively won the best student branch award for the last three years. CSE Department has High-Performance Computing System “DAKSHINA’ Cluster Series-2 and a Super Computer powered by Tesla (M2090 GPUs) developed in-house. The department has the latest infrastructure facilities with high-speed internet facilities, advanced software labs, hardware labs, seminar halls, and classrooms equipped with LCD projectors. The laboratory and workshop building complexes for Electrical Engg, Electronics Engg, Computer Engg, Instrumentation Engg, Civil, Mechanical Engg have all been constructed according to prevailing standards and are fully operational.
