Madras Medical College (MMC), Chennai

Madras Medical College (abbreviated as MMC Chennai) is an educational institution located in Chennai, Which is the capital of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It was established on February 2, 1935. MCC is the 3rd oldest medical college in India and is one of the foremost centers of PG medical education in the country with four-twenty-five (425) seats.

At present, around twenty-five hundred medical and paramedical students are studying at Madras Medical College, Chennai. MMC, Chennai is affiliated to the Tamilnadu Dr. MGR University. It provides MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery), BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy) and B.Sc (Bachelor of Science) at the undergraduate level and MD (Doctor of Medicine), MS (Master of Science) and M.Pharm (Master of Pharmacy) at postgraduate level. It also provides Postgraduate Diploma and Super-specialty programs, namely DM & MCH in different specializations.

MMC, Chennai is well-equipped with all the modern facilities including a library, laboratory, canteen, gym and auditorium. Hostel facilities is also provided by the college.
