CGC, Jhanjeri offers B.Tech course in Regular as well as lateral entry mode. Minimum eligibility for engineering courses is 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology or any other technical vocational subject

Moreover, candidates who have passed Diploma in any engineering trade from the Punjab State Board of Technical Education or from any other State Board of Technical Education or two years’ certificate course from SLIET are also eligible. Admission in B.Tech courses is done on the basis of JEE Main entrance exam conducted by CBSE, Delhi.

At PG level, CGC Jhanjeri offers MBA, MCA and M.Com. courses. A relevant Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university is the minimum eligibility criteria for admission. Final admission is based on marks in the last qualifying examination. For MBA, admission is based on CAT/ XAT/ MAT or equivalent exam.

For State Quota Seats: In order to participate in admission counseling for the state quota seats, candidates need to register themselves online on PTU website by following the given steps:

Visit the official website of PTU.
Click on the button “Pay Online Counseling Fee” in order to register for Online PTU Counselling.
Fill the details before making payment.
For registration, choose stream applying for, Name, Parents’ Name, Gender, Date of Birth, Email-ID, Password, Mobile number, State and City.
Click on the submit button.
Candidate will receive a fee confirmation message on registered email ID and also through SMS on registered Mobile Number.
Pay fees of INR 1,000 (Non-Refundable) through Credit/ Debit Card or Net Banking.

Boys Hostel
The college offers magnificent hostels for boys with a warden in each hostel to supervise day to day management. •Semi furnished rooms with attached washrooms •Adequate ventilation and lighting facility •Air cooler facility within the rooms of the hostel •Well-furnished common rooms with a TV with DTH connection.
Girls Hostel

Gym
The college provides a state-of-the-art gymnasium fully-operational with the latest fitness equipment within the campus. Instructors and trainers are available throughout the day to train the students. The gymnasium at CGC, Landran can accommodate up to 150 to 200 students at a time. To give equal space and privacy we have separate centrally air-conditioned gyms for boys and girls.
Library
The college has a well-equipped library with over 40, 000 books on different subjects along with a huge bank of journals across relevant domains. The library subscribes to national and international subject journals and dailies. Apart from books, it has a huge collection of Audio video material. The library maintains a separate “Book Bank” collection exclusively for the meritorious students. The central library has a collection of 20582 titles and subscribes to 200+ journals, magazines & periodicals. The double-story library is tastefully furnished and can accommodate around 300 students at a time.
Sports
The college has well-equipped Basketball Courts, Cricket pitch, Volley Ball Courts, Indoor Badminton Courts, Table Tennis Tables (Indoor). The Physical Education Department of the College regularly organizes Inter-Collegiate competitions and tournaments in various sports events and activities. The students at CGC are regularly encouraged to participate in these tournaments across various sports on the campus as well as outside.
Cafeteria
The College has a spacious and hygienic canteen that caters to the taste of all students. It can easily accommodate around 500 students at a time. The canteen and cafeteria are well equipped with modern furniture, refrigeration, electrical automatic cooking and storing facilities, which provide hot lunch, snacks, and beverages both to the students and staff at reasonable rates.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.
Medical/Hospital
The college has medical facilities for the students, a dispensary is established within the campus that attends to basic medical requirements as well as unforeseen emergencies. CGC possesses a fully-fledged medical dispensary under the supervision of well qualified and experienced doctors as well as nurses. Salient features in this regard are:- •24X7 hour medical care facility •Free medicines to students & staff from the college dispensary •CGC has a tied up with surrounding hospitals as Fortis Hospital, Sohana Hospital, Ivy Hospital, Mohali and Cosmo Hospital, Mohali for concessional consultancy, tests, and treatment •To deal with emergency cases, college transport is available round the clock to carry the patients for treatment at surrounding hospitals.
