Founded in 1991, The Pacific Design Academy is a private design college providing students with full time and part-time courses related to the field of designing. It has been known for bringing forth an artistically inspired curriculum serving the current and evolving needs of the design marketplace.
Located in the heart of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, the college follows an ideology of imparting a state-of-the-art curriculum. With years of excellence, Pacific Design Academy is a designated college with the Private Training Institutions Branch of the BC Ministry of Advanced Education.

Courses
With a student to faculty ratio of 13:1, PDA offers courses in fields related to Graphic Design, New Media, Interior Design or Architectural Building Technology, nothing beats Pacific Design Academy. Offering 10-month diploma programs, students also get to work in a loft styled studio and have the most superb view of the inner harbour of the city of Victoria.

Pacific Design Academy has its main campus located in 1252 Wharf St, Victoria, BC V8W 1T8, Canada. It has its own distinctive atmosphere and subject areas taught on campus. The campus is located at walking distance from train and bus stations.

Admission Process
Application Portal: Applicants can fill out the Online application form along with a CAD 200 non-refundable fee (for domestic students) and CAD 300 (for international students). There are separate forms for Full-Time Diploma Programs and Part-Time Evening Classes available on their website.
Application deadline: August 15 (Fall Semester)
Admission Requirement: Transcripts of completed High School or Equivalency, a minimum of a 2.0 GPA is required; Letter of Intent mentioning- background and future goals
Additional requirements: Valid photo ID or birth certificate

Students enrolled in Pacific Design Academy are eligible for financial assistance from a number of sources. Some of these sources include:
- The Canada Student Loan Program
- WorkSafe BC (formerly W.C.B.)
- Social Services and Human Resources Canada
- Funding sponsored by British Columbia Ministry of Advanced Education
No scholarships are available for International students.
Alumni Network
Pacific Design Academy maintains a very cordial relationship between the school and its graduates. An Alumni Office is set up which aids the Alumni Association to unite all the folks for fellowship and even promoting projects.
