University for the Creative Arts boasts a legacy of offering creative education for more than 160 years. The history of the University dates back to 1866 when it was spread across South East England. It gained its present status in the year 2005 when Surrey Institute of Art & Design and Kent Institute of Art & Design joined their hands together in pioneering as a creative education provider. Over time, the university has emerged as the second-largest institution in Europe offering creative degrees and also acknowledged among the top 40 institutions in England and seeks to top the list through its unique and comprehensive creative courses.
