Central University of Jammu & Kashmir
Central University of Jammu & Kashmir was established in 2011 under Central Universities Act, 2009. The Central University of Jammu & Kashmir is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). CU Jammu is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Central University of Jammu & Kashmir is approved by the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The Central University of Jammu & Kashmir offers courses in the fields of science, management, engineering, arts, education, research, etc. The courses offered by the Central University of Jammu & Kashmir are diploma, B.Sc. (H) and M.Sc. integrated, B.A. and B.Ed. integrated, B.Voc, PG diploma, M.Sc., M.Tech, M.B.A, M.A., M.Ed. and Ph.D. Admission to the courses is based on the merit marks of the candidates in CUCET. For Ph.D programme, UGC/NET/UGC-CSIR NET/SLET/ GATE/M.Phil qualified candidates can apply for admission without CUCET. The university has a total 97 well-qualified faculty members.
