Central University of South Bihar, Patna
was established in 2009 under the Central Universities Act, Section 25 of 2009. The university was formerly known as the Central University of Bihar (CUB) and was renamed to Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) under the Central Universities Amendment Act 2014. CUSB Patna is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The campus is spread over 300 acres of land. CUSB Patna is located at Belwakarhara, Bihar. The Central University of South Bihar is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with grade A.
The Central University of South Bihar, Patna provides numerous study programmes through the 14 schools, and these are Schools of Mathematics, Statistics & Computer Science, School of Physical and Chemical Sciences, Schools of Earth, Biological and Environmental Science, School of Social Sciences & Policy, School of Human Science, School of Languages & Literature, School of Media, Arts & Aesthetics, Schools of Management, Schools of Education, School of Law & Governance, School of Vocational Studies, School of Technology, School of Health Sciences, and School of Agriculture and Development.
The Central University of South Bihar, Patna is known for offering various undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate programs under Science, Arts, Engineering, Law, Commerce, Education and Medical streams. Admission to BA + B.Ed, B.Sc + B.Ed, BA + LLB and other PG programs is provided based on a valid CUET score. For the M.Tech program, candidates are provided admission based on the GATE scores.Parul University is a private university established by the state government of Gujarat in 2015 under Gujarat Private Universities Act. The University offers 160 different undergraduates, postgraduate and doctoral degree programmes through 34 institutions across 21 wide streams. The various faculties include medicine, engineering, pharmacy, homoeopathy, ayurvedic, management, law, fine arts, design, arts, and commerce etc. The University is spread over 150 acres and has 100 academic blocks. Presently, more than 28,000 students are studying at the university. The University also accommodates international students and presently accommodate 1200 students.
