Career Point University (CPU), Kota, was established in 2012 and is recognised by the UGC. The University is a member of the Association of Indian Universities and is approved by the AICTE. It is also recognised by various government bodies, such as the NCTE, ICAR and AISHE.
The University offers 204 courses in streams, including, Engineering, Commerce, Management, Agriculture, Information Technology, Law, Humanities and Social Sciences, Library and Information, Education, Physiotherapy, Pharmacy, Science, and Health and Allied Sciences. All these courses are offered by CPU through 12 different academic departments.

General Shivdev Singh Diwan Gurbachan Singh Khalsa College
The institute was founded in 1960 with the untiring efforts of Padam Shri Dr. Khushdeva Singh and Dr. Ganda Singh, the renowned historian who was also its first Principal.
It started with a humble beginning at Gurdwara Sri Dukhniwaran Sahib, Patiala with 5 rooms and a total strength of 35 students.
It was shifted to its present premises in the year 1973 for which the foundation was laid by the then Chief Minister of Punjab in 1972
The college was taken over by Shiromani Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee, Sri Amritsar, the apex body of the Sikhs in the year 1991.
The college then had around 18 classrooms and 3 Science labs
Since then, the Institution has been progressing under the leadership provided by the S.G.P.C.
The Institute is reputed for its state of the modern infrastructure, well stocked library, advanced technology labs, science labs, smart classrooms, well equipped gymnasium, playgrounds and complete Wi-Fi campus.

Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar
Established in 1886, Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (also known as The Heritage Institution Kanya Maha Vidyalaya), an institute of women education, has long been recognised as a premier centre of higher learning for women in northern India. Re-accredited with “A” grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), KMV Jalandhar is approved and recognised by University Grants Commission (UGC) and Ministry of Human Resource and Development, Government of India (MHRD).
