Trent University is a mid-sized liberal art and science-oriented institution located along the Otonabee River in Peterborough, Ontario, with a satellite campus in Oshawa, which serves the Regional Municipality of Durham.
The enabling legislation is the Trent University Act, 1962-63. The university was founded through the efforts of a citizens' committee interested in creating a university to serve the City of Peterborough and the surrounding counties. The committee recruited Dean Thomas H.B. Symons of the University of Toronto to serve as chair of the academic planning committee and Symons became the universityâs first president.

The Belgorod State University (abbreviated BSU or BelSu) is located in Belgorod, Russia. It is one of the oldest university in Russia and also known as The National Research University. BelSU was established in 1876 by the command of the Russian Ministry of Public Education. In BSU, the total no. of scholars in the last seven years has raised more than 3 times. Currently, around twenty-three thousand Russian students and more than 2800 international students from 91 different countries are reading at Belgorod State University. In 2009, The BelSU turned into the base institution of the SCO (The Shanghai Cooperation Organization) Network University, in the primacy field of Nanotechnology, Ecology and Regional Studies. On 26 April 2010, The Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation nominated the BSU to be honored the title of the national research university. The BSU contains different campuses. The central campus has eight academic buildings with all the modern facilities. The university provides undergraduate, postgraduate and specialists courses in various areas of studies and majors.
