
The ‘Abhyudaya’ scheme of Uttar Pradesh government was kickstarted by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday, 15 February. The scheme aims to set up free of cost coaching centres in the state for the students preparing for competitive examinations.
The scheme will provide coaching facility to the students who are preparing for Joint Entrance Exam (JEE), Civil Services Exam (UPSC/UPPSC), National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), National Defence Academy (NDA), Combined Defence Services (CDS).
The motive of this scheme is to provide assistance to the students who want to prepare for various competitive examinations but are unable to do it due to financial restrictions.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, while speaking to students on Monday said that during the lockdown, he felt that a Kota-like coaching centre should be set up in Uttar Pradesh, too.
He also answered the queries of students registered for the Abhyudaya scheme.
Students and teachers can share feedback on virtual classes. Those who will perform better will be given more importance in the online classes. The official mentioned that offline classes would be held in Lucknow at LU and IT colleges. Initially, coaching will be at divisional level, followed by district level in the next phase.
Students who would not be able to attend offline classes can access it through YouTube or Facebook. Also, the virtual classes will be recorder so that students can access it later in case they have missed it.
Principal Secretary will monitor free Coaching for UPSC, JEE, NEET under UP CM’s Abhyudaya Scheme. A committee of 12 members headed by the divisional commissioner will make arrangement of guest lectures, motivational speakers, the supply of study material etc. The committee will ensure the effective operation of the UP CM’s Abhyudaya Scheme.
Ranjan Kumar, Lucknow Divisional Commissioner told the Times of India, that, “The students can share feedback on teachers in virtual classes. Similarly, teachers can also share feedback on students and those performing well will be given more attention.”
UP Government has started the facility to provide free coaching for the aspirants who cannot afford costly coaching and guidance for preparations. The coaching will be held at Lucknow University (LU) and IT college in morning and evening. Candidates who cannot attend the offline classes can use Youtube or Facebook.
Abhyuday free coaching classes will begin from February 16, 2021. The coaching classes will be monitored by the principal secretary. A 12-member committee led by the divisional commissioner will take care of the distribution of study material, guest lectures, speakers and feedback.
