About AP EAMCET
An Undergraduate entrance examination for admission into Agriculture, Engineering and Medical (paramedical programmes to be precise) programmes offered by various renowned Institutions in the state of Andhra Pradesh is conducted annually by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada (JNTUK) which goes by the name of Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test or AP EAMCET. This state-level entrance examination is conducted in online mode on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), Amravati. Thousands of students from the state appear in the popular AP EAMCET entrance exam every year with a hope of getting into B.Sc, B.Tech and B.Pharm courses taught in the AP EAMCET participating institutions.
The AP EAMCET exam is usually conducted in April every year for which the online application forms tentatively go live during February. The exam dates for Engineering, Agriculture and Medical programmes may differ and so may the answer key release dates. However, the result for all the programmes will be declared on the same date, as has been the case till now.
Once the AP EAMCET result is declared, a merit/rank list is prepared based on which the counselling and seat allotment is carried out.
AP EAMCET is conducted for 3 hours bilingually where the test-takers have to attempt a total of 160 objective-type questions.

AIIMS MBBS 2019 Eligibility Criteria
AIIMS MBBS 2019 is the undergraduate medical entrance exams for candidates seeking admission to the MBBS courses. The exam will have 200 multiple choice questions from Physics, Biology, Chemistry and General Knowledge.
It is important for the candidates to go through the eligibility criteria of AIIMS MBBS 2019 before registering. AIIMS MBBS will take place on May 25 and 26 for the MBBS programme offered at the 15 AIIMS institutes such as Bhopal, New Delhi, Guntur, Bhubaneswar, Jodhpur, Patna, Nagpur, Rishikesh, Raipur, Raebareli, Bathinda, Deogarh, Bibinagar, Kalyani and Gorakhpur.
The application form is available online as the registration for AIIMS MBBS 2019 began from November 30 and from this year, the form filling procedure has been revised. Now, it is a two-stage process wherein the basic registration will go on till January 3, 2019, and the final registration formalities will go on till March 2019.
Candidates need to understand the eligibility criteria which includes parameters such as academic qualification, age, minimum qualifying marks etc. Candidates need to meet all the parameters to be able to appear for the entrance exam. Candidates who are found to be ineligible will not be allowed to appear for AIIMS MBBS. Let’s take a look at the eligibility criteria in detail in this article. Following are some of the eligibility norms:
AIIMS MBBS Detailed Eligibility Criteria
The candidate must be 17 years of age at the time of admission or should be 17 on or before December 31, 2019.
Candidates born on or after January 2003 will not be considered eligible to apply for AIIMS MBBS 22019.
Indian nationals, NRIs, Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs), Foreign Nationals, Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) and Foreign Nationals are eligible to apply for AIIMS MBBS 2019.
OCI candidates need to show proof of registration as an OCI under Section 7A to appear for the exam
Foreign Nationals will be nominated by the Indian government and they must have a minimum of 50% in English, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology in 12th or its equivalent exam to appear for the MBBS exam. Such candidates will have to contact the Indian Mission/Post abroad in their country and the Ministry of External Affairs to get nominated. They won’t be granted admission on the basis of the AIIMS MBBS exam score.
Aspirants appearing for 10+2 in 2019 can apply
Aspirants must have passed Class 12 from a recognized Board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as the main subjects
Students who have or are appearing for the qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English and look at passing the exam with the qualifying percentile are eligible to apply but they will have to submit the document of passing the qualifying exam with the required percentile and subjects.
Candidates who have the equivalent exam passing certificate must submit a certificate from the concerned Indian University stating that the exam is considered equivalent to the 10+2 exam
Minimum Marks Required
The minimum percentage in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English that is required in the qualifying exam for all the categories is as follows
General and OBC candidates-60%
Some percentage of seats are reserved for the OBC, SC, ST and PwD candidates. The six new AIIMS namely Bhubaneswar, Jodhpur, Bhopal, Raipur, Patna, and Rishikesh have an intake of 100 students each and 50 students each in AIIMS Guntur and Nagpur. The reservation policy followed by them is given below
Note: AIIMS Delhi has 100 seats for Indian Nationals and 7 for Foreigners.
If the SC/ST seats remain vacant they will be converted to general category seats.
OCI Eligibility Criteria
The Overseas Citizens of India registered under Section A of Citizenship Act 1995 will be eligible to apply for AIIMS MBBS. The terms and conditions applicable to Indians will also be applicable to OCI candidates. In order to be eligible to AIIMS MBBS, the OCI candidates will have to OCI registration proof under Section A of Citizenship Act 1995.
Foreign Nationals Eligibility Criteria
In order to be eligible for admission in the MBBS programme, if any foreign candidate is nominated by the Government of India, then they will have to pass the intermediate science examination with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as a compulsory subject. The foreign nationals will not have to appear for the Competitive Entrance Examination. This liberty will be available for the AIIMS, New Delhi candidate.
OBC Eligibility Criteria
There are 181 seats available for the OBC candidates across all AIIMS
Candidates belonging to OBC category must secure 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English in the 12th Class examination or equivalent exam from any recognised board.
In order to claim OBC quota, the candidates will have to ensure that they do not belong to the creamy layer of OBC. A certificate of the same must be provided in the given format which has been issued within a year.
Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe Eligibility Criteria
There are 101 seats reserved for the Scheduled caste category and 53 seats are reserved for Scheduled Tribe category. The Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates will have to score at least 50% in the intermediate examination that is class 12 examination from some recognised board. In order to admission under the SC/ST quota, the applicants will have to produce the certificate of SC/ST.
OPH Eligibility Criteria
AIIMS Delhi reserves 3% seat for Orthopedic Physically Handicapped, hence to avail the reservation of this category, one has to be 50%-70% disabled in the lower limbs. If candidates under this category are not available then candidates with 40% – 50% disability would be considered.
