Mohali Nursing College is attractively built near the city of Chandigarh. The college has qualified and experienced faculty.The college has spacious and well equipped laboratories for nursing foundation, nutrition, maternal and child health nursing community, anatomy, physiology, microbiology and computer facilities. The college has well ventilated classrooms and library with latest books & journals. The college has modern hostel facilities with spacious dining halls and equipped common rooms.
It maintains vast open lawn for indoor games and other co-curricular activities.
We believe that our program will prepare nurses for taking first-level positions in the health care system and contribute effectively to society and assure a role of the responsible citizen.
Mohali Nursing College Courses
Auxiliary NURSING & MIDWIFERY (ANM)
Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery in Nursing is a two-year undergraduate certificate-level course in Medical Nursing. The duration of the course is 2 years. Minimum Eligibility to ANM Course is 10+2 level of education with a minimum aggregate of 40% marks.
The course deals with the field of medicine and covers components of healthcare. It focuses on providing medical care to individuals, families, and communities, so they may attain, maintain, or recover optimal health and quality of life.
Qualification : 10+2 ( any stream)
Duration : 2 years
GNM (Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery)
General Nursing and Midwifery or GNM course is a 3 year diploma. Nursing and Midwifery focuses provision of care to individuals, families, and communities.The course can be pursued after successful completion of the 10+2 level of education in the any stream from a recognized educational Board, with a minimum aggregate score of 40%.
GNM nursing course involves the compulsory completion of a 6-month internship for a better understanding and practical discipline.
Qualification : 10+2 ( any stream)
Duration : 3 years
B.Sc. in Nursing
B.Sc. in Nursing or is a 4 years course. The course can be pursued after successful completion of the 10+2 level of education in the PCB stream from a recognized educational Board, with a minimum aggregate score of 40%.
Qualification : 10+2 ( PCB stream)
Duration : 4 years
KIIT College of Engineering offers two years full-time MBA. Selection is based on MAT scores.
Mohali Nursing College Placement
The Institute helps each student in exploring placement opportunities by inviting various Hospitals for recruitment of students who are in the final year of the programme and are likely to graduate at the end of the academic year.
Final Placement
The final placements, at the Institute, are a result of very systematic interaction with the hospitals and labs for continuous career counseling of the students. This not only helps the students in getting their ‘dream’ jobs but also assists the visiting placement hospitals in identifying the ‘right’ candidate for their organization. However, the placement will be governed by Placement guidelines.
Planning for Placement
The placement activity is primarily managed by the Placement Committee headed by Director of the institute as Chairperson with the help of the Manager Corporate Relations and other committee members which includes faculties and students from various departments.

MEDICAL FACILITY: Facility available at College & Hostel Campus.
CLASSROOM: Well furnished with comfortable sitting arrangement, proper lighting and cooling system with regular classes are making a perfect environment for studies.
LIBRARY: Well-arranged library with books, journals, magazine reference books, case reports, newspaper and other useful arrangements needed for library.
HOSTEL: Well–ventilated hostel in the college campus with spacious rooms & mess facilities.
TRANSPORTATION: Transportation is also available for college students.
CLINICAL: Clinical experience will be provided in the 5 affiliated hospitals and one govt. Hospital, Clinical instructors also guiding the students in the field.
A.V. AID ROOM: Well equipped AV aid room with overhead projector, T.V., VCR, Radio, Computer, Model Poster, Chart, and Specimens. Special education tours and picnic extracurricular activities are arranged.
RECREATION FACILITIES: Institute is providing indoor/ outdoor games facilities, which helps in the extra development of the student. Institute also organizes sports week every year, which gives an opportunity for the students to take part in different activities.
COMPUTER FACILITIES: For providing latest knowledge in nursing sciences institute has got computer facilities with the internet.
