Mrs. A. V. N. College,Andhra PradeshMrs A.V.N. School has the special qualification of being one of the chosen few universities serving splendidly the instructive and social needs of South India all in all and Andhra Pradesh specifically. Not many universities in our nation can flaunt having delivered a more extravagant and more variegated graduated class than this multi year old organization. Established in 1860 as a school, this chief foundation developed with the help of the open particularly the zamindars of that time. It picked up status of a High School in 1886 with an European Head ace, Mr E. Winckler, who turned into the Principal in 1878 when it was raised to the status of a school named Hindu College. Different Principals who succeeded him were Messers H.H. Anderson, R.S. Sheppard, W. Ramaiah, P.T. Srinivasa Iyengar were in charge of high remaining of the College. In any case, the money related position was unacceptable. Here, provision played its considerate hand and the fortunes of the school improved when in 1892, Ankitam Vekata Narsinga Row, a celebrated and kind proprietor blessed an attractive measure of Rs one lakh, 11 section of land site and an immense structure, other than a structure award of Rs 15,000 in memory of his adored spouse. The College along these lines came to be known by her name Mrs. A.V.N. School from that point forward.
