Central University of Gujarat, Gandhinagar
The Central University of Gujarat, Gandhinagar was established in 2007 by the Parliament of India through the Central Universities Act (2009), Central University of Gujarat. The Central University of Gujarat, Gandhinagar is recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC). The Central University of Gujarat is commonly known as CUG and accredited by NAAC with a grade of ‘B++’. The Central University of Gujarat, Gandhinagar houses 11 schools namely the School of Chemical Sciences (SCS), School of Applied Material Sciences (SAMS), School of Education, School of Environment and Sustainable Development (SESD), School of International Studies (SIS), School of Language, Literature and Culture Studies (SLL&CS), School of Library and Information Sciences (SLS), School of Life Sciences (SLS), School of Nano Sciences (SNS), School of National Security Studies (SNSS) and School of Social Sciences (SSS).
There are 50+ programmes offered at Central University of Gujarat, Gandhinagar under 11 Schools. They range from BA, M.A, M.Sc, M.Ed, and M.Phil to PhD programmes covering multidisciplinary subjects like Humanities, Languages, Education, Social Sciences and so on. The CUG admission is based on the CUET as well as course-wise eligibility criteria.
Charotar University of Science and Technology (CHARUSAT), Anand is a State Private University and was established in 1994. CHARUSAT was established under the Gujarat Private University Act, 2009 and empowered under Section 22 of the UGC Act, 1956. CHARUSAT has been conceived by a non-profit premier education trust - Shri Charotar Moti Sattavis Patidar Kelavani Mandal that works with the mission of social service through education. The campus spreads over 120 acres of land. Currently, CHARUSAT offers undergraduate (B.Tech, BBA, BCA, B.Sc, B.P.T, B.Optom), postgraduate (M.Tech, MBA, MCA, M.Sc, MPT, PG Diploma in Medical Lab Technology, PG Diploma in Clinical Hypnosis, M.Pharma), Ph.D. programmes, GNM programme in different areas.

Charotar University of Science and Technology is located at Nadiad-Petlad highway in Changa, Gujarat. The nearest railway station is Anand Junction which is 2.5 km away from CHARUSAT. Vadodara Airport is approximately 39 km away from Anand. Nearest Bus Stop is Anand Bus Stop which is 17 km away from Charotar University of Science and Technology. Students can also take a bus, taxi, or cab to reach the CHARUSAT.

Clubs, Committees and Societies:
- Entrepreneurship Development and Incubation Cell: This Club encourages the students who want to become entrepreneurs and gives them opportunities to do something in this field.
- Career Development and Placement Cell: The members of this Club work to prepare the prospective students for the campus selection programmes and help in the smooth conduction of recruitment drive. The Cell invites various industries and reputed companies for campus recruitment.
- CHARUSAT Rural Development Program (CREDP): The aim of this Cell is to improve the standards of school education in the Charotar region. This programme focuses on strengthening infrastructure facilities in schools.
- Women Development Cell: This Committee works to create a healthy working environment for women employees and students in CHARUSAT, where they can realise their potential. The Cell aims to empower women through training and aptitude building exercises and programmes.
- Equal Opportunity Cell: This Club ensures that there are no biases on the basis of gender, religion, caste, and complexion. This Cell aims to create equal opportunities for the stakeholders (mainly the students and employees) in CHARUSAT.
- Cell for Prevention of Sexual Harassment (CPSH): This Cell aims to create a healthy and safe environment for both the genders by establishing guidelines to explain any kind of sexual harassment.
- Sports section: The Institute provides sports facilities and encourages the students to participate in indoor and outdoor games for their physical and mental well being.
- Lodge Complaint: Any stakeholder of the Charotar University of Science and Technology can complain to this cell if he/she faces any kind of harassment or discrepancy.
Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology
Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology, Gandhinagar is the Institute of Information & Communication Technology and was founded in 2001 by Mr Dhirubai Ambani. DA-IICT is well recognized and established in Gandhinagar, the town of Gujarat. The college has been ranked 107 in the NIRF Engineering Ranking 2021. It offers programmes in the disciplines of science, engineering and design. DA-IICT offers B.Tech, M.Tech, M.Des. and M.Sc. In order to get into the available and preferred programmes, students must participate well in the entrance examinations. It is managed by the Dhirubhai Ambani Foundation and is funded by the Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Team. In August 2001, Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology, Gandhinagar began receiving students with the participation of 240 undergraduates in its Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) programme in Information and Communications Technologies (ICT). Now it has been increased to also include postgraduate studies like M. Tech. in Information and Communications Technologies, M.Sc. in Information Technology, M.Sc in Agriculture and Rural Development, Master of Design (M. Des.).

The college is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with an 'A' grade. The institute is also accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). IRMA Anand is spread over an area of 60 acres of land. As per the official website, the mission of the college is to promote the sustainable development of rural people through its professional management courses.
IRMA Anand P.G.D.M Rural Management programme is recognised as equivalent to a master degree in Rural Management by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). Furthermore, it is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The institute offers courses in the field of management. The courses offered by the institute are P.G.D.M Rural Management, Executive P.G.D.M Rural Management and Fellow Programme in Rural Management. All courses are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Admission to the courses is as per the college admission process. The total number of faculty members at the Institute of Rural Management is 31 and the total number of students enrolled is 482. Thus, the student-teacher ratio at IRMA Anand is 16:1. The institute also has many clubs, committees and societies.
Many facilities like boys hostel, girls hostel, library, guest room, wi-fi, auditorium, classrooms, medical clinic, sports, gym, etc are provided by the Institute of Rural Management. The college also has a placement cell. The placement cell also conducts guest lectures, seminars, workshops, industrial visits, etc. IRMA Anand provides many scholarships to students. Some of them are SC Scholarships, ST Scholarships, IDFC First Bank M.B.A Scholarship, etc. The college also has many collaborations. IRMA Anand has been ranked 55 in the NIRF Ranking 2021 in the management category whereas it was ranked 72 in NIRF Ranking 2020 in the management category.
