XLRI Jamshedpur will release XAT Cutoff 2021 after the declaration of results in third week of January 2021 (Tentative). Colleges accepting XAT score will release category-wise cut-off separately. Candidates must get above the minimum marks to get shortlisted for group discussion and personal interview rounds.

As per the normalization process, no candidate can get negative percentile and scores. Also, no candidate can score 100 percentile.
Seperate cutoff is released for male and female candidates for BM program while for HRM differentiation is done based on male engineering, female engineering, male non-engineering and female non engineering. Know XLRI Selection Process
Overall Cutoff 2020 for BM program is 95 percentile while that of HRM is 93 percentile for male candidates and female candidates is 93 percentile for BM and 91 for HRM program.
Candidates who achieve the minimum required marks in each section will be called for Personal Interview and Group Discussion round.
The list of these qualified candidates will be released by the authorities.
Each participating institution of XAT 2021 will release their own cutoff after result has been released.

XAT score or percentile is applicable to institutions like XILR. XIMB, IMT, BIMTECH, Great Lakes, etc. Candidates can estimate their rank before the declaration of result.

XAT Score vs Percentile

XLRI XAT Cut off is announced to be around 95 percentile for the flagship PGDM-BM for 2021. A score as low as 35 in XAT 2021 would lead to a considerably high percentile. Out of 74-75 marks from the XAT Paper, candidates find it difficult to score beyond 30-32 marks and very few students cross the 34-35 score. How to Calculate Percentage Using Formula

Unlike CAT, score normalization is not done in XAT as it is conducted in a single session. Hence, perecentile is used in XAT which can be calculated using the following formula:

1 – Your XAT Rank/Total candidates x 100

For example, if your rank is 100 in XAT 2021 and 100,000 students participated, your percentile would be 90.

Key terms related to XAT Cut off

Official XAT 2021 Cut off: The cutoff marks are released officially i.e. by XLRI. These marks will decide the final merit list.
