Sree Vidyanikethan Engineering College – B.Tech Admission 2022

Admission to B.Tech programme is done through merit list generated on the basis of by the EAMCET examination conducted by Government of Andhra Pradesh. 80% of the seats are filled on the basis of the EAMCET merit list and the remaining 20% intake is reserved under the category of Management/ NRI quota.

AP-EAMCET (Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test) is an entrance examinations for engineering aspirants aiming to study at one of the prestigious colleges present in the state of Andhra Pradesh. This state level examination is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada.

Sree Vidyanikethan Engineering College – M.TECH and MCA Admission 2022

Admissions to M.Tech programme are done on the basis of AP-PGECET or valid GATE score. For MCA, the merit list generated by ICET is taken into consideration.

Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP-PGECET) is conducted by Andhra University.

Andhra Pradesh ICET is an entrance examination conducted by Shree Venkateswara University, Tirupati on behalf of APSCHE and the test centers are allocated on first come first serve basis.

Sree Vidyanikethan Engineering College – Diploma Admission 2022

Candidates seeking admission to diploma courses available in the second shift of polytechnic college at SVEC should have passed 10th examination conducted by government of Andhra Pradesh or should have passed an equivalent examination. The seats will be awarded on the basis of CEEP examination conducted by government of Andhra Pradesh.
CEEP or Andhra Pradesh State Polytechnic Entrance Exam is an state level examination conducted by State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh for candidates willing to pursue diploma courses. The examination can be given in both offline as well as online mode.

Candidates can submit their applications through the online mode by following the steps given below:
The applicant can download the application form through the official college website.
The applicant should follow the steps of instruction provided and submit the completed form along with the required documents within the stipulated time.
Duly filled-in applications should be submitted along with the processing fee (if any) and the required documents within the stipulated time

The application process is same for all the courses.

The documents to be provided at the time of admission are:

Birth certificate – Proof of nationality
Marksheets of all the examinations (10th and 12th)
A valid entrance exam score card (GATE,PGCET,EAMCET,CEEP)

Reservation Criteria

In case of B.Tech admissions, the seats are divided into government quota, management quota and NRI quota. 70 % of the total seats are allocated on the basis of merit list generated by EAMCET whereas remaining seats are reserved for students under management quota and NRI quota collectively.

In case of M.Tech admissions, the seats are allocated on the basis of PGCET or GATE merit list only. No reservations are mentioned on the college website.

For MCA admissions, the seat division is similar to that of the B.Tech courses. 30 % of the total seats are reserved for NRI quota and management quota whereas remaining seats are assigned on the basis of entrance examination, ICET.

The Central library has been established with state-of-the-art infrastructure to the International Standards, spread over Ground + Two floors with the built-in area of 4500 Sq. M. It is provided with central air-conditioning system, fire alarm, CCTV, and RFID book security system. Reference and textbooks of national and international authors, International and national Journals & Non-book materials are available to cater to various fields of Basic Sciences, Engineering and Technology, Humanities and Social Sciences. The library has a collection of 1,27,465 volumes of books, 18,720 titles, 1258 back volumes, 2988 CDs and DVDs. The Central Library subscribes to National & International Print Journals and to more than 2929 e-Journals. The subscribed e-resources include IEEE with POP, ASCE and ASME Journals. Within Central Library, a Digital library is also provided for classroom teaching through NPTEL video courses in the different fields of education
Sports

The College encourages student and staff participation in games and sports. Adequate indoor facilities and play fields are available.
Cafeteria

Adequate and requisite canteen facilities are provided at the College for the convenience of students, faculty and staff.
Auditorium

SVEC facilitates best infrastructure services to ease and enhance learning ways for every student. Stimulating interface between the academic and student communities, the college’s air-conditioned conference hall. Dasari Auditorium, the largest such facility in an educational institution.
Medical/Hospital

The college hosts a 24hrs medical facility with two qualified staff nurses with a General Physician who regularly visits the campus. The college believes that healthy students create a healthy and a pleasant atmosphere. All safety devices are available on the Campus at the time of emergency.
