Admission Process
College of Vocational Studies, New Delhi Admission
College of Vocational Studies, New Delhi offers undergraduate courses to the students. Admission to all the UG courses except for B.A. (Hons.) Business Economics is offered on the basis of marks secured in class 12th or equivalent qualifying examination. For admission to B.A. (Hons.) Business Economics, candidates have to qualify an admission test conducted by the Department of Business Economics, University of Delhi. CVS New Delhi admission procedure is given below in details:
B.A. (Hons.) Business Economics
- Candidates have to apply and appear for Delhi University Joint Admission Test conducted by National Testing Agency, the conducting body for Delhi University Joint Admission Test (DU JAT).
- Candidates have to meet the minimum cut off requirement.
- Based on the marks secured in the DU JAT exam and merit of the qualifying exam, (Best four subjects including Maths, English and other two subjects), candidates will be shortlisted.
- Shortlisted candidates will be offered admission on the basis of merit, marks secured in the entrance exam, institute level document verification and fee payment.
Undergraduate Courses
- Candidates have to register online and submit an online application for admissions.
- A cut off list will be released by the university based on the marks secured in class 12th or equivalent qualifying examination.
- The highest marks secured in a total of four subjects (best four) will be calculated.
- Candidates have to meet the cut off requirement.
- Aspirants meeting the cut off requirement have to report to the institution for admission.
- Final admission will be based on merit, document verification and fee payment.

- Library
The College has a well stocked fully computerized and airconditioned Library. It has three sections, namely reference section, textbook section, and general section. The reading room provides newspapers and magazines for general reading. It also provides scholarly journals and periodicals for consultation. The rules for the use of the library are notified on the Notice Board by the Librarian from time to time. It has 53,478 books and approx. 500 bound scholarly journals in its stock comprising of a good number of valuable reference/ multidisciplinary books. The Library subscribes to 14 Journals and periodicals and 12 newspapers for its users. The Library Reading Room remains open from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. The Library is well known for its valuable, rare and the unique collection of study material on vocational/ management subjects. The teachers and students are provided Internet connectivity and Laptops for preparing their course contents, lessons, assignments, etc., along with the access to e-resources such as INFLIBNET-NLIST for further study and research works.

- Registration for participating in the placement drive – Candidates interested in participating in the recruitment drive have to first register with Aspire – Placement Cell of College of Vocational Studies, New Delhi.
- Creating a unique Aspire ID – Once the candidate has successfully completed the registration process, a unique Aspire ID is generated and candidates need to save the credentials for future requirement during the campus recruitment process.
- Preparation OF Resume – Candidates have to prepare their resume in the correct format and provide all the details with utmost accuracy.
- Registration – Candidates have to register separately for each company for the different companies they are eligible to register for.
- Pre-Placement Talks – Companies visiting CVS New Delhi for conducting placement drives deliver a pre-placement talk for the students in order to make them aware of the basic policies followed by the company and give an insight into the company.
- Selection Process – Written Test, GD and PI: The interested students have to appear for the Aptitude Test (written test) followed by a Group Discussion round and an Interview.
