National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), New Delhi

Established in 1986, NIFT Delhi (National Institute of Fashion Technology) is situated in the state of Delhi, India. The institute is accredited from AICTE and is considered as one of the modern iconic architecture of India. The institute expanded from a temporary set up of two rooms to a full-fledged campus in the year 1994. NIFT Delhi is the largest campus of NIFT that provides all programmes including seven bachelor and three master programmes. The institute has been working as a huge knowledge service provider to the State and Union governments in the sphere of design developments and positioning of handicrafts and handlooms.

The objective of NIFT Delhi is to offer a learning experience of the highest standards in fashion including technology, design and management. It also encourages the extremely creative student body to draw inspiration from the textile and crafts of India. The institute is considered one of the leading institutes of fashion in the world. It was granted with the statutory status in 2006 and is associated with the Government of India and the Ministry of Textiles. The campus of the institute comprises seminar/conference halls, fully equipped labs and classrooms, resource centres, semi-furnished and fully air-conditioned hostels. NIFT Delhi has a brilliant group of faculty members who have qualified their doctorates in the field of fashion. The curriculum of the institute is reviewed every four years with the inputs provided from the industry, alumni, in-house research, visiting faculty and experts.
