Satyawati college is a co-educational constituent college of University of Delhi. The college offers several UG courses in different specializations. It also has a single PG course offered under the faculty of Arts and specialization in Political Science. Besides academic excellence, the college is also known for its achievements in extracurricular activities. The Sports Department of the college conducts 20 different sports activities in a year.

The Delhi Government established Satyawati College in 1972 and is one of the off campus colleges of the University of Delhi. At present the college has 10 Departments and numerous courses. The college has been accredited by NAAC with Grade A and affiliated to Delhi University. The college has a diversified environment with students coming from different backgrounds in terms of culture, religion and socio-economic status.

Satyawati College campus is spread across an area of 10 acres. The college has classrooms which are fully equipped, a resourceful library, a seminar hall, computer lab, canteen, bank and a lot more facilities. Students and faculty can access free WiFi connectivity across the campus. With several student societies like Art & Culture, Debating, Dramatics, Film & Photography, NSS, NCC and many others, the college provides a progressive platform where students are taught to become creative and develop reasoning skills.

1. Reading Halls & Computer facility: The Library has two air-conditioned reading halls- one for teachers with a seating capacity of 12 users and the other for students with a seating capacity of 99.

2. Property Counter: The Library offers the facility of a property counter with an Attendant to its users. Users are required to deposit their bags (excluding valuable items such as money, passport, credit/debit cards/mobile phones, etc.) with the property counter attendant before entering the library.

3. Braille Books: The Library has 200 books in Braille Language, CDs, and other devices.

4.Inter Library Loan: The Library offers Inter Library Loan facility to its users on request. The Library in the past has borrowed and even issued books on interlibrary loans to nearby college libraries.

5.Photocopy: The Library provides free of cost photocopy facility for faculty members.

The college has one of the best sports facilities in Delhi University. Department of Physical Education provides able guidance to students who are interested in different sporting activities. The college has a double-story sports complex. A lush green sports ground with a well-laid-out cricket pitch is a delight for cricketers. Annual sporting events like Sandeep Suri Memorial Cricket Tournament have earned a reputation for themselves with widespread participation of teams from the Delhi/NCR region. students have brought laurels to the college by winning several inter-college, inter-university, National, and International events. The college provides an ideal sporting atmosphere for differently-abled students as will some of these students have represented India and won medals in international events as well.

The college has a canteen is near the main gate/entrance. It is a place for students to unwind, relax, and rest. The canteen provides good quality food and beverages at affordable prices to the college fraternity.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars. The college takes pride in having a beautiful and splendid auditorium dedicated to “ Satya” which means truth and named after Satya. It is a perfect venue for lectures, debates, conferences, seminars, drama, dance, and other extracurricular activities which will help the college in developing the creative ability of the students. A state-of-the-art auditorium with a seating capacity of 825 is one of the best in Delhi University. It has all modern facilities including the best quality sound and lights panel etc.
