SCET Surat B.E & Lateral Entry Admission 2022

Sarvajanik College of Engineering and Technology (SCET) offers four-year degree program of B.E in 8 specializations. Aspiring candidates must have appeared for GUJCET conducted by Government of Gujarat to become eligible for the admission.

Candidates must have passed 10+2 in Science stream by securing minimum 45% in three Science subjects from GSEB or CBSE/ISCE. Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational Subjects qualify as optional subjects.

SCET Surat M.E Admission 2022

SCET runs two-year degree program of M.E in five specializations. Eligible candidates are admitted based on their GATE scores through the centralized admissions process. Non GATE candidates need to appear for PGCET 2021 for getting eligible for admission.

Candidates must have passed B.E./B.Tech or equivalent examination with 50% marks in the qualifying exam in relevant discipline of engineering. A valid GATE or PGCET score is compulsory.

SCET Surat MCA Admission 2022

The college MCA with an intake of 60 students. Admissions are centralized one carried out on the basis of CMAT scores of the current academic year.

Candidate must qualify graduation examination with minimum 50% marks. They must also pass 10+2 pattern with Mathematics or Business Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects.

SCET Surat Application Process 2022

As admissions to these courses are centralized, candidates have to apply to the ACPC in their prescribed forms. Candidates can also avail information booklet and PIN from registered help centers. The following application fee has to be paid in cash at designated branches of Kotak Mahindra Bank.

BE – INR 350, ME – INR 1000 and MCA – INR 500
After online registration, print-out of the registration form and self-attested photo copies of the required documents have to be submitted at nearby help center within the given time period.
Thereafter, eligible candidates are required to participate in the choice filling and remaining admission process.

Lateral Entry – Application forms are made available at L.D. College of Ahmedabad after the results of the diploma are announced.

Applicants have to pay INR 350 in Axis Bank Ltd. situated at Ghod Dod Road, Opp. St. Xavier’s School, Surat. The requisite fee has to be deposited in A/c No. 047010100025540 with the name “Sarvajanik College of Engineering & Technology” to be written on bank slip.

SCET Surat Facilities

Boys Hostel

SCET Surat facilities and infrastructure include well-equipped hostels for boys. In the boys’ hostel, there are several facilities for the boys. The boys’ hostel facilities include well-maintained rooms with chairs, tables, cupboards and beds. There is a mess facility inside the hostel and the boys’ hostel also has indoor sports equipment like table tennis etc. Female visitors are not permitted to visit the boys’ hostel without prior permission of the boys’ hostel warden. Without the approval of the boys’ hostel warden, students can not leave the hostel during the night between 9:00 pm to 7:00 am. All boys’ hostel students are totally responsible for their personal belongings, including their bicycles, mopeds, and scooters.
Girls Hostel

The college has separate girls hostels on the campus premises. SCET Surat girls’ hostel is equipped will various facilities such as well-furnished rooms that include study tables, chairs, beds and cupboards. The girls’ hostel has a canteen facility for the students in the hostel and it also has indoor sports facilities for girls. Male visitors are prohibited to visit the girls’ hostel without the prior permission of the girls’ hostel warden. All girls’ hostel students will be solely responsible for all their belonging including their cycle/moped/scooter etc.
Gym

SCET Surat has different and well-maintained gym equipment for its student on the campus.
Library

SCET Surat infrastructural facilities include a library. The library is well equipped with a large collection of books for all disciplines, back volumes and the latest journals. The college library operates on an open-access basis, with numerous books, national/international periodicals, print journals, and reputable magazines. SCET Surat library subscribes to research journals in both electronic and print formats. The library has electronic journals from reputable online scientific sources such as the American Chemical Society, ASCE, IEEE, Science-Direct, J Gate, McGraw-Hill, and Springer Link. Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Civil Engineering, Textile Technology, Architecture, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Humanities, and Social Sciences are just a few of the subjects covered in the library. Reference books, textbooks, and CDs are among the items in the collection. All in-house operations in the library are fully computerized using the SOUL software package that also provides web-based access to the online catalogue of the library.
Sports

On the campus premises, there are several sports facilities for the students. The college has various sports facility that includes games like volleyball, badminton, basketball, chess and table tennis. Gymkhana department of the college operates with the same vigour, instilling in students an ever-challenging enthusiasm to set a standard in the many competitions held at the inter-collegiate and inter-university levels. The department has full-fledged indoor and outdoor game facilities. Within the campus, there is a large field where volleyball, football, and cricket can be played. SCET students compete in numerous sports contests at all levels around the country. SCET has won numerous sports competitions at the inter-engineering, inter-collegiate, and inter-university levels. SCET has made a name for itself on a number of intercollegiate levels.
Cafeteria

SCET Surat cafeteria serves nutritious and tasty meals to students and faculty at a reasonable price. To meet the needs of students and staff, a good canteen has been established, serving not only mouth-watering but also hygienic food at a subsidized price.
Auditorium

SCET Surat facilities and infrastructure include a well-maintained auditorium and seminar halls at the college campus. It has auditorium and seminar halls where various events, functions and seminars are held. The seminar halls have a seating capacity of above 100 to 200 people. The seminar halls are having all the necessary facilities like seating arrangements, projectors and other facilities. There are four seminar halls at SCET Surat and they are Tifac Core seminar hall, NJ seminar hall, EC seminar hall and IC seminar hall.

The college has good IT infrastructure facilities on the campus and 300 Mbps bandwidth is available for Internet usage.
Laboratorie

The college has various laboratories on the college campus. In laboratories, there are the latest laboratory equipment, communication kits and modules, fibre optic kits, microwave bench etc. SCET Surat facilities include well-equipped laboratories electrical machines, control systems, measurement and instrumentation, power system, industrial electronics and high voltage engineering and project cum research lab. Engineering students used to carry out different analysis of engineering materials and they also perform various practicals based on the analysis of metals, non-metals, ores, and different sort of water analysis.
