Students are offered admissions at JUET Guna at three levels: undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral. Courses offered at Jaypee University of Engineering and Technology Guna for admissions are B.Tech, M.Tech, B.Sc., M.Sc. etc. There are two ways via which JUET Guna B.Tech admissions are offered: valid JEE Main scores and marks obtained in class 12th. For admissions in B.Tech Biotechnology and Bioinformatics programmes, 50% seats shall be filled on the basis of JEE Main All India Rank and 50% seats shall be filled on the basis of 10+2 marks with Biology/ Biotechnology as a core subject in the 10+2 examination. It is to be noted that JUET Guna admission to the B.Tech programme, 50% seats shall be allotted through JEE Main. The remaining 50% seats shall be filled through counselling on the basis of merit (marks obtained in 10+2). The university also offers admissions to B.Tech lateral entry programmes, for this, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria and selection will be based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination as per the eligibility criteria.

Candidates desirous of taking admission in M.Tech programmes at JUET Guna must note that they need to appear for GATE appropriate to the discipline of their qualifying degree. In the case of Non- GATE candidates, the university will conduct the Post Graduate Entrance Test (PGET) for admissions. It is to be noted that seats available after admitting students through GATE will be offered to PGET qualified candidates. If candidates are not able to meet the minimum cutoff GATE score, as decided by the admission committee of the university they will not be offered JUET Guna admissions. Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria for admission to B.Sc. (Hons) and M.Sc.Candidates must participate in the common counselling conducted for JUIT Guna, JUIT Solan, JIIT Noida and must fill their choices accordingly. 

 For Ph.D. admissions, candidates must meet the general eligibility criteria and have qualified in GATE/NET/SLET /UGC CSIR JRF or equivalent national level examinations. Students who have not appeared for the national level examination have to appear for the written test, based on the candidates’ performance in the written test have to appear for the interview. The entrance Test shall be qualifying with qualifying marks of 50%. The syllabus of the entrance test shall consist of 50% of research methodology and 50% shall be branch specific. The interview will be taken by the Department Research Committee of the university. Candidates will be offered JUET Guna Ph.D. admissions based on the following criteria:  competence for the proposed research, research work can be suitably undertaken at the university, the proposed area of research can contribute to new/additional knowledge.

Jaypee University of Engineering and Technology Application Process

1. First, candidates must visit https://admission.juet.ac.in/ for detailed information.

2. For B.Tech admissions, candidates applying through JEE Main scores must apply for JEE Main on the official website of NTA and Non- JEE Main candidates, they can fill the application form on the university website.

3. For all other courses such as B.Sc. (Hons), Ph.D., candidates need to fill the application form on the university official website and must upload all the required documents.

4. Submit the application form and pay the application form fee (online).

JUET Guna UG Admissions

The university offers B.Tech and B.Sc. (Hons) are offered at the undergraduate level for JUET Guna UG admissions. The university also offers B.Tech lateral entry for admissions. 50% of seats in B.Tech programmes are filled based on JEE Main scores and the remaining 50% of seats are filled through marks obtained in class 12th. B.Sc. (Hons) admissions are offered based on the marks obtained in 10+2.

JUET Guna PG Admissions

The university offers M.Tech and M.Sc. programmes for PG admissions. There are two ways by which students can get admission in M.Tech programmes: GATE and PGET. The preference shall be given to GATE qualified candidates and if seats are available the admissions will be offered through PGET conducted by the university. M.Sc. admissions are offered based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

JUET Guna Admission Process for Ph.D.

1. Meeting the eligibility criteria is the first step in the JUET Guna admission process

2. Eligible candidates must fill the application form.

3. Candidates who have qualified in GATE/NET/SLET /UGC /CSIR (JRF) or equivalent national level examinations are exempted from the Ph.D. entrance examination conducted by the university and have to attend interviews.

4. Candidates who have not qualified for any national level examination such as GATE/NET/SLET /UGC /CSIR (JRF) have to appear for the entrance examination.
