A sharp mind needs a healthy body to support it. At SDGI, we encourage our students to indulge in sports activities like Cricket, Table Tennis, Volleyball, Badminton etc. SDGI also organizes sports events on regular basis. In order to develop lasting sports culture among the students, SDGI is coming up with indigenous sports complex of around 2.5 acres. The students of SDGI also participate in various inter-college, inter-university level sports meets.Games and sports have been one of the important foci of “Sunderdeep Groups Of institute” in its endeavor to facilitate all-round development of students’ physical and mental abilities. The Institute has excellent sports facilities comprising indoor & outdoor games such as badminton, cricket etc.The Sunderdeep Sports-complex which is in the process of coming up is expected to give a major boost to games, sports and other related extracurricular activities of the students.

SDGI also offers health insurance policy to its students. An emergency mobile van is also available round the clock to ensure timely healthcare to the resident students.

The computer dome has dedicated broadband Internet connectivity using RF link services for round the clock operations. Moreover, the computer center is upgraded from time to time to ensure that the facilities remain at par with the latest. The computer centers are geared to provide a specialist environment for the student to accomplish their assigned task

The computer dome is ably supported with 10 fully equipped computer labs having state-of-the-art computing resources providing one-to-one access to students. The dome is ably powered with latest software applications on engineering, medicine, hospitality, architecture and information technology. The computer center is centrally air-conditioned and is backed up by high caliber UPS to ensure uninterrupted operations.

The Alumni Meet of Sunder Deep Group of Institutions was held in SDGI premises. More than 200 alumni all around the country participated in this meeting. It was a wonderful occasion to meet and share the experiences with the alumni who graduated from the institute over past 6 Years.The Alumni Meet was inaugurated with the lighting of a lamp by our Hon’ble Chairman and Respected Director Ms. Anju Saxena.They enlightened the students with their rich experiences & inspired them for the determined move towards their aspirations.An opportunity was given to every alumnus to share their experiences on their journey in SDGI and its impact on their career. Some of them reminisced about their stay in their hostel. Many valuable suggestions on the future directions for research & teaching priorities in SDGI also shared.
