To provide financial assistance to the poor & meritorious students, Acharya Prafulla Chandra College, Kolkata provides various scholarships:
- Stipends & Free Studentship– To help the poor and meritorious students, Acharya Prafulla Chandra College, Kolkata grants free Studentship/ Half- free Studentship. Students from Scheduled Castes and Tribes and Other Backward Classes and Minority Communities are entitled to special stipends.
- Medhabritti Prakalpa of the Students’ Union– In the year 2014, the Students’ Union introduced a Merit Scholarship Scheme for the meritorious but poor students. A scholarship equivalent to six months’ college fees shall be granted to the students securing the highest marks in the second and third-year classes of B.A. as well as B.Sc. streams.
- Students’ Benevolent Fund– This project is entirely funded by the teachers of APCC. The aim of Students’ Benevolent Fund is to provide financial aid to the poor yet meritorious students of the college.
