Like last year the KVS Notification was supposed to release in March, but it gets delayed due to the COVID-19 situation, we may expect the release of the KVS 2020 Notification anytime soon now. Candidates are requested to stay updated for the updates. Meanwhile, the syllabus & exam pattern and eligibility have been discussed.
Kendriya Vidyalaya School(KVS) Notification 2020 is expected to be out very soon. The recruitment process takes place every year for teaching and non-teaching jobs. The notification will come as a relief to the aspirants, who look for settling in a teaching job, that too with the central government. For PGT, PRT, TGT as well the Non-Teaching posts such as Librarian.

KVS Eligibility Criteria 2020 involves fulfillment of the educational qualification and age limit:
Educational Qualification For KVS PGT:
- Master’s Degree from the recognized university with at least 50% marks.
- B.Ed or equivalent degree from a recognized university.
- Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English media.
Educational Qualification For KVS TGT:
- Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subjects/combination of subjects and in aggregate.
- B.Ed or equivalent degree from a recognized university.
- Pass in the CTET Paper II by CBSE.
- Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English media.
Educational Qualification For KVS PRT:
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education/4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)/Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)

KVS Syllabus 2020
KVS Syllabus 2020 generally remains the same as the previous year. The subjects include
- Part 1- English, Hindi, General Knowledge & Current Affairs;
- Part 2- Reasoning Ability, Computer Literacy, Pedagogy

KVS Selection Process
Online Exam
The first phase of the selection comprises of an All India level exam. It is compulsory for all the candidates to qualify for the exam to be eligible for the next round. Candidates need to score minimum qualifying marks that decide their entry into the next round, that is an interview.
Interview
The next phase of KVS selection is the interview round. Candidates qualifying the exam need to appear for an interview, that will comprise of 60 marks. The shortlisted candidates will have to report to the interview venue. A merit list will be prepared on the basis of performance in the exam & interview. The selected candidates will be then be placed at various KVs across the states and UTs. This depends on the number of vacancies available.

- Click the given direct link when active and you’ll be directed to the application page.
- Enter all the personal, academic, communication details etc. carefully as mentioned in class X certificate.
- Choose preferred exam centre, paper option, and language.
- Enter the security text.
- Upload scanned images of your passport size photograph and signature in prescribed jpg format.
- After the successful uploading of documents, you’ll be redirected to the fee payment page.
- Choose from either the online payment method.
- For online payment, select the gateway i.e debit card/ credit card or net banking.
- Filled-in application form and e-receipt of fee payment will appear on the screen.
- Download and print it for future reference.
