The polytechnic is under the administrative control of the Directorate of Technical Education, Kerala and a Governing Body, which comprises representatives of the sponsoring society, State and Central TYPE : TYPE : GOVERNMENT s, State Board of Technical Education and All India Council for Technical Education. The founder Chairman of the Governing Body is (Late) Khoday Lakshmansa, Bangalore. Sri K.L. Ramachandra is the Present Chairman.
