JEE Main 2025 Correction Facility

The NTA authority will provide a correction facility for the JEE Main 2025 application to amend any details. Candidates are encouraged to take advantage of this one-time opportunity to carefully edit or modify their application forms. Once submitted, no further changes will be permitted. Any updates regarding the correction process released by the NTA will be reflected in the article.

For Session 1, the correction window will be available from November 26 to November 27, 2024, until 11:50 PM. This option allows for a one-time correction of personal particulars and other details, which will be accessible after the final application submission date. The last date to apply for Session 1 of the JEE Main 2025 was November 22, 2024.

JEE Main 2025 Correction Dates

The link for editing information in the JEE Main 2025 application form (session 1) will become active on 26 November 2024. This link will remain accessible for a duration of two days, closing on 27 November 2024.

Corrections for the second session will be permitted starting from the first week of March 2025. It is important to note that after this timeframe, the NTA authority will not accept any modifications to the application details under any circumstances.

For Session 1, the correction window will be available exclusively through online means. Candidates should be aware that only specific editable details may be modified prior to the correction deadline.

JEE Main 2025 Image Correction

The board may provide the facility to make corrections in the uploaded images. Correction in images will be done through login. It will be done from November 2024 for session I & in March 2025 for session II. Correction will be done in scanned images of photograph and signature during the correction period.

Important Points for Correction:

Editable Parameters:

• The following details cannot be edited once submitted:
  • Candidate’s name
  • Contact/address details
  • Category
  • PwD status
  • Educational qualifications
  • Date of birth
  • Choice of exam cities
• Other parameters in the application form are editable.

Correction Process:

• Corrections can be made only once in the application form.
• Any changes made to the form can be updated immediately if no additional Examination Fee is required due to the corrections.

Additional Examination Fee:

• If the changes made in the application form require an additional Examination Fee, the final update will occur only after the successful payment of this additional fee.
• The additional fee must be paid through SBI MOPS using Net Banking, Debit Card, or Credit Card.

Payment of Additional Fee:

• If applicable, the additional Examination Fee must be paid before the corrections will be finalized.

JEE Main Correction Fee Payment

Candidates are required to pay any applicable balance fee resulting from corrections to their particulars during the designated period. Upon successful payment of the fee, any modifications made to the application will be reflected accordingly.

It is important to note that any additional fees, if necessary, must be settled by candidates using Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, PAYTM, or UPI during the correction window. This facility is provided as a one-time opportunity to assist candidates and prevent any difficulties. Therefore, candidates are strongly advised to make corrections with utmost care, as no further opportunities for corrections will be granted under any circumstances.

How to Edit JEE Main 2025 Application Form

1. Access the Official Website

• Visit the official JEE Main 2025 website (the link will be provided on the official site).

2. Log In to Your Account

• Use your application number and password to log in to your account.

3. Review the Existing Information

• After logging in, the information you entered in the application form will be displayed on the screen.

4. Click on ‘Edit Application Form’

• At the bottom of the page, find and click on the ‘Edit Application Form’ link to begin making corrections.

5. Make Necessary Edits

• Review the entire form thoroughly.
• Make any required corrections or updates to your application details.

6. Verify All Details

• After making corrections, verify all details carefully to ensure they are accurate and up-to-date.
• Double-check especially critical information such as personal details, educational qualifications, and exam choices.

7. Submit the Corrected Form

• Once you are confident that the form is correct, submit the form.

8. Print the Correction Slip

• After submitting the corrected application form, print the JEE Main 2025 application form correction slip.
• Retain the correction slip securely for future reference.

JEE Main Application Form 2025

The application form for JEE Main 2025 was made available on 28th October 2024 for the first session. Candidates had the opportunity to complete their applications until 22nd November 2024 at 9:00 PM. For the second session, registration will commence on 31st January 2025, with the deadline for submission set for 24th February 2025 at 9:00 PM.

It is important to note that any incomplete information in the application form may result in the disqualification of the candidate. Applications must be submitted exclusively through the online mode. Additionally, the authority may offer a facility for candidates to correct certain details in their JEE Main application.

Important Notes for JEE Main 2025 Application Correction

1. Editable and Non-Editable Fields:
   While candidates can edit most fields in the application form, name, date of birth, contact details, educational qualifications, and exam city preferences cannot be modified. Make sure you check these fields before submitting the form.
2. Payment of Additional Fee:
   If any modifications made to your application form require the payment of an additional examination fee, you will need to pay the updated fee. The correction will only be finalized once the payment is successful. The fee can be paid via SBI MOPS (Net Banking/Debit/Credit Card).
3. Once-Only Correction:
   The correction window allows only one instance of editing your application. Once submitted, you cannot make further changes, so ensure all modifications are completed before submitting.
