Located in Simon Fraser University’s Burnaby Mountain campus; 25 min drive from downtown Vancouver.
Students stay on campus availing academic and administrative offices, on-campus residences, library, and shops etc.

Prerequisites
- For UTP Stage 1- complete year 11 or its equivalent
- For UTP Stage 2- complete year 12 of secondary school or its equivalent
- Admissions based on complete academic record.

- For UTP Stage II, secondary school mathematics at an acceptance level is required

Financial aid provided by FIC
- Navitas family bursaries are provided to the students of FIC.
- A Bursary is equal to 10% of the tuition fee.
- Submit the application to the Navitas institution with all the supporting documents and certificates.
- Navitas Academic merit scholarships for two outstanding students across all programs.
Work while you study
On Campus
Students can work on campus while studying at the institute. They will have
to fulfill the following conditions.
- Study full time in a program
- Have a valid study permit
- Have a SIN (Social Insurance Number)
- Can work a maximum of 20 hours/week during the school year
- Can work full time during school holidays
Off-Campus
Students can also work off campus while studying at the institute. They will have to fulfill the following conditions.
- Have a valid study permit
- Study full time in a program at a recognized institution
- Have already started studying
- Studying to obtain a degree, diploma or certificate with duration of at least 6 months
- Have a SIN (Social Insurance Number)
Work after graduation
One can work post their graduation after obtaining a work permit. After completion of degree students are eligible to apply to work in Canada for three years.
Students have to fulfill the following conditions:
- full-time student in Canada
- Completed with a study program with a minimum duration of 8 months.
- Apply for the work permit within 90 days of receiving a document
- Must have a valid study permit
