Located in the Niagara region of Southern Ontario, Canada, Niagara College is a public college of Applied Arts and Technology. With more than 10,000 full-time students out of which 4,000 are international studentsNiagara College offers more than 130 programs

Along with the certifications, diploma and bachelor’s degree based programs, Niagara college also offers over 600 credit, vocational and general interest courses in fields like hair salon, spa, brewery, winery, etc. The college is known for its wine, beer, and culinary programs, it has a commercial winery built for teaching.

NCC awards its students with more than 200,000 CAD in scholarships, awards, and bursaries.

For three years, Niagara College has been in the top ten Canadian research colleges in the country in terms of research funding. 

The college’s Research and Innovation division has received a Gold Award of Excellence by the World Federation of Colleges and Polytechnics in 2018.

Nine out of ten graduates from Niagara gain employment within six months of completing their graduation with average annual salary in Canada being 51,000 CAD

Programs, Campus and Residence

Niagara College Canada offers more than 130 certifications, diplomas, advanced diplomas, and degree programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The college offers these programs through 15 schools spread across the two campuses of the college. 

  • Welland campus (WLC) has ten schools while the Niagara-on-the-Lake campus(NLC) has five schools and a wine institute.
  • Both the campus of NCC has on-campus housing facilities to accommodate more than 5,000 students. The resident halls offer fully furnished suites in double and quad occupancies.

Niagara College also offers Co-operative(Co-op) Education which is a combination of studying along with work terms. This system provides the student to gain substantial work experience along with alternate studying at college.There are various such programs offered in the fields of management, business, engineering, hospitality, etc. International students can enroll through the international office of the college to work-study in Canada.

Applying for Admission at Niagara College

Priority is given to those candidates who qualify for Early Admission (subject to program capacity). Those who are unable to meet Early Admission Criteria may be qualified for admission under the Competitive Admission Process. However, no admissions are guaranteed to those who meet the minimum criteria.

Cost of Attendance at Niagara College

NC provides many housing facilities to their students on both their campuses. Students can also consider renting rooms, houses or sublets along with other students who are looking for housemates

  • Homestays- International students can reside with a Canadian family once they have received confirmation from them.
  • Landing Pad- Niagara College Landing Pad accommodates International students for 30 days, including two meals per day.

All new and returning students need to pay mandatory non-refundable 500 CAD tuition deposit. This deposit is essential to secure a place in the program. This fee is a part of the tuition fee which will thus reduce the tuition owed.
