Banasthali Vidyapith Courses

Banasthali University is a residential institution. There are 29 hostels with a capacity of housing 110 to 438 students. The network and Internet access has been extended to all hostels providing the student’s unlimited opportunities to unleash the power of the Internet. There are more than 400 fully equipped staff quarters of different types, ranging from one-storeyed houses to multi-storeyed modern apartments and one Working Women’s Hostel with 113 seats.

The institute provides gym facilities for the students. The gymnasium is located on the campus and is equipped with all the modern equipment in good condition for students to use. To be a member, the students can take the membership of the gym.

To ensure that the students can get all access to their books within the campus itself, the institute has built a Central Library within the campus. The Central Library is also connected to the internet to ensure that the students can study properly. It has an 8 Mbps Internet connection, which is possible through BSNL and VSNL leased lines within the campus. The library is modernized with the construction of LIBSYS, which is an Integrated Library management software package that contains all the modules to conduct the library housekeeping operations. It regulates the flow of the library and makes work simpler.

To maintain the well-being of the students, the institute also has a great arrangement for games and other sports events. There is a Laxmi Bai maidan on the campus that ranges around 26690 square meters and is used to conduct many events like parades, programs, and some film shows. There is also a Vidula Maidan that is about 41950 square meters big and has many fields to facilitate the playing of games like hockey, volleyball, tennis, yoga, martial arts, basketball, and mass physical display activities. The institute consists of a swimming pool that can be used by the students, the faculty members, and their families as well. Indoor games like badminton and table tennis are also allocated their separate spaces

The institute also comes with a cafeteria that has healthy and safe food for both faculty members and the students. It also has a good seating capacity so that it can accommodate a lot of students in one go. The standards of the food at the cafeteria are routinely checked. 

To aid the students medically and be able to take care of any emergencies, the institute has its hospital called the ‘Apaji Arogya Mandir.’ The hospital attends to all needs of the students and works throughout the year to be present round the clock for the students. The Apaji Arogya Mandir comprises 60 beds. It also has many qualified doctors and other supporting hospital staff.

The institute is well prepared with its IT infrastructure. In that matter, it can beat any world-class university. Every department and office in the institute is well-equipped with computing facilities that come along with high bandwidth Internet access, which is laid through a fiber optic cable in the campus. There is a center known as the Artech-Dalmia IT Center, which has changed the IT infrastructure of the institute completely. The center has been constructed with the financial aid of Shri MH Dalmia and Artech Limited.

To aid the students living nearby the campus, there is a transportation facility of the institute itself. There is a bus provided to the Bansthali-Niwai Railway station that is situated 7 km away from the campus. Additionally, the minibusses of the institute run as shuttle service at 15-minute intervals. The Rajasthan Roadways also provides bus services from and to the campus from Jaipur and Newai every day. These services are available almost every hour from 6 am to 6 pm.
