NEET 2023 Admit Card:

NEET 2023 Admit Card is expected to be out by April 30, 2023, and candidates can download their admit cards from the official website of NTA. To download the admit card, candidates need to enter their registration number, date of birth, and security pin. The admit card will contain important information such as candidate’s name, roll number, photograph, signature, exam date, exam time, exam center address, and important instructions. Candidates must carry their admit card along with a valid photo ID proof to the exam center, failing which they will not be allowed to appear for the exam.

NEET Eligibility criteria 2023: The minimum eligibility criteria to apply for NEET is to have passed class 12 in PCB with a minimum of 50% marks. Candidates belonging to the reserved category require only 40% in the qualifying exam in class 12 to fill NEET 2023 Application Form.

  • As per the latest NTA notification, NEET 2023 eligibility for Foreign Nationals/ PIOs/ NRIs/ OCI cardholders has been revised.
  • Earlier eligible for admission to only the NRI and supernumerary seats, OCI/ NRI/ PIO/ Foreign nationals are now eligible for admission to all UG medical seats subject to the rules and regulations issued by the respective authorities. 
  • Candidates who have taken biology as an additional subject are also eligible to apply. 
  • While appearing for NEET Counselling candidates will have to produce all the original documents satisfying the minimum eligibility requirements. 

City Allotment:

NTA will allot exam centers to the candidates based on their choice of city, availability of seats, and the number of candidates appearing from that particular city. Candidates can select up to four cities while filling the application form, and the exam center will be allotted based on the availability of seats. The exam centers will be located in various cities across India.

Exam Date May 7:

NEET 2023 is scheduled to be held on May 7, 2023, in a single shift from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Candidates must report to the exam center at least one hour before the commencement of the exam. The exam will be conducted in pen and paper mode, and candidates must carry their own pen, pencil, eraser, and sharpener to the exam center.

Question Paper:

NEET 2023 Question Paper will consist of 180 multiple-choice questions, and the duration of the exam will be three hours. The question paper will be based on Physics, Chemistry, and Biology subjects, and each subject will have 45 questions. The total marks for the exam will be 720, and each correct answer will carry four marks, while one mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. The question paper will be available in English, Hindi, and other regional languages.

Pattern:

NEET 2023 Exam Pattern will be similar to the previous years’ exams. The exam will consist of multiple-choice questions, and candidates need to select the correct answer from the given options. The exam will be conducted in offline mode, and candidates need to mark their answers on the OMR sheet using a pen or a pencil. The exam will be conducted in a single shift, and the duration of the exam will be three hours.

  • NEET exam comprises 200 questions divided equally into 4 subjects– Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, and Botany. 
  • NEET exam duration is 200 minutes.
  • NEET total marks are 720. Subject-wise NEET marks are 180.
  • Each subject of NEET paper is divided into 2 parts– A (35 questions) and B (15 questions). 
  • In part B of NEET UG exam, you need to answer only 10 out of the 15 questions.

The qualifying NEET 2023 cut off percentile is fixed-. 50 for GN/ EWS, 45 for GN-PwD, 40 for OBC/ST/SC/PwD. Last year’s pass marks for NEET were 117-715 for the General category and 104-116 for OBC/ SC/ ST categories.
