Age Limit:

• There is no upper age limit for APSET, making it accessible to candidates of all ages who meet the educational qualifications.

Exemption:

5. Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test 2024 Exam Pattern

The APSET exam consists of two papers:

1. Paper 1: A general paper that tests teaching and research aptitude. It is common for all candidates and focuses on reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking, and general awareness.
2. Paper 2: A subject-specific paper based on the candidate’s chosen discipline in their Master’s degree.

Both papers are objective type (multiple-choice questions) and conducted in an offline mode (pen and paper-based). Below is a detailed exam pattern:

Paper 1: General Aptitude

• Duration: 1 Hour
• Each question carries 2 marks.
• No negative marking.

Paper 2: Subject-Specific

• Duration: 2 Hours
