This field of Engineering indulges in the study and application of electricity and electronics. In a world that practically lives on electricity, electrical appliances, and computer software, this branch of engineering has a bright future.
B.Tech EEE is designed to provide skills and knowledge about the electrical, electronic and computer-based systems so as to make students successful engineers with a shining career. The course consists of core courses, electives, and Lab Practical.
The course delivery methods include lectures, lab work, practical training, assignments, workshops etc. During B.Tech EEE course, students are encouraged to undergo practical training and this usually happens after the end of the fourth semester

The minimum eligibility for this requires, passing the higher secondary school certificate (10+2) examination with science subjects such as Physics and maths as compulsory subjects along with other subjects like Chemistry, Computer Science, Biotechnology, and Biology. Minimum percentage of marks in class 12/ higher secondary Examination is generally from 50% to 55%.
Since most institutions have an Entrance Exam; the students who have appeared in Higher Secondary Examination and are awaiting results can apply too.
Some colleges like Bharti Vidyapeeth Universityalso offer Direct Entry for this course along with an Entrance Exam. The eligibility for this requires the student to have Diploma in Engineering by an institution recognized by All India Council for Technical Education.
If the candidate is eligible, they can apply for the course either through Direct Entry (as mentioned in Eligibility) or through Entrance Examination.
