The online registration process for the 1st Phase began on October 20th, 2023.
The entire registration and form filling procedure is conducted online.
The last date for submitting applications for CUCET is May 30th, 2024. After this date, the Phase 2 registration process will commence.
For Phase 2, the application process will continue until August 2024.
The application procedure consists of several steps, including online registration, form filling, uploading images/documents, payment of application fees, and printing the application.
Students must exercise utmost caution while filling out the application form, as changes are not allowed after submission.
Students should submit only one application, as multiple forms may result in rejection.

Application Fee:

The application fee payment can be done by online mode.
Fee is Rs.1000/- for various courses.
Candidates can pay fee using debit card/ credit card/ net banking method/ UPI wallet through various gateways provided.

CUCET 2024 Correction

Students must re-verify complete details filled in application before final submission as the authority may or may not provide the edit facility to registered candidates. If provided, changes or modification can be done by candidates by online mode. Corrections in application is not provided through any offline mode/ post.

Correction facility in CUCET application form will be enabled after the completion of application process. Candidates are required to login with their registered details.

CUCET 2024 Eligibility

Given below are the general Chandigarh University CUCET eligibility criteria for the 2024 session:

For UG: Candidates must have passed their 12th level (10+2) with 50% marks from a recognised board/ university. Those failing in 1 or 2 subjects will not be considered eligible.
For PG: A candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline from a recognised university with at least 50% marks in graduation.
There is no age limit for the candidates. However, candidates must check the age norms at the Universities for which they are taking admission.

CUCET 2024 Pattern

CUCET Exam mode: CUCET Phase 1/2 will be conducted in online mode only. Students can appear at home using a laptop/ PC with a camera.
System requirement: Students must appear for CUCET with a laptop with a web camera and stable internet connection (≥ 1 Mbps).
Exam Instructions: Students appearing for CUCET must adhere to exam instructions as notified by University. An exam invigilator will be available on ‘Live chat’ for solving students’ queries.
Test Attempts: Multiple phases of CUCET – I & II will be organised. However, only two attempts per phase is allowed.
Duration: For CUCET, 120 minutes duration will be given.
Medium of examination: The online exam will be conducted in English medium language only. Those who had 10+2 Arts can make choice of Hindi.
Type of question: The paper will contain Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
Total questions: There will be total 100 MCQs in the paper.
Marking scheme: 1 mark will be given for every correct answer. There will be no negative marking in exam.

CUCET 2024 Syllabus

CUCET syllabus is divided into two parts & four sections. Syllabus can be checked online by the students for UG admissions:

For UG Programs: For admission into various UG programs, CUCET contains questions from various topics of 12th level.
For PG Programs: For admission into various PG courses, syllabus set will be based on various topics of subjects from graduation level.

CUCET 2024 Admit Card

Chandigarh University CUCET Admit Card 2024 will be available for downloading after few days on completion of application process. Students must go through the instructions mentioned in admit card and follow them strictly in the exam day. No admit cards will be sent through post.

After the publication of admit card, candidates must check complete details mentioned on it. Candidates have to login with their details in order to check the timing & other instructions regarding the exam.

CUCET 2024 Answer Key

The answer keys contains the answers of the questions asked in the entrance exam. However, students must note that CUCET Answer key will not be released by the University.

In case any information regarding the CUCET answer key is updated by the authority, it will be mentioned on the website. Students must be regularly updated with the website.

CUCET 2024 Result

The results for CUCET 2024 will be intimated to the students same day/ real time basis after conducting the exam. CUCET Result/ Scorecards 2024 can be downloaded only through online mode on website. Also, students will be informed about the CUCET result/ scores through SMS/ mail.

Candidates will be considered eligible for scholarship on the basis of the secured rank, qualifying status and individual marks attained in the test.

CUCET 2024 Cut Off

The cut off will vary for different courses opted by students. Cut off are the minimum qualifying marks students are required to obtain in CUCET.

Various cut off marks are set by University for availing the scholarship opportunities for admission. It has been set by the authority after measuring various parameters.

CUCET 2024 Counselling

Students successfully qualifying the CUCET 2024 will be considered eligible for participation in CUCET counselling process. Document verification will be done of the qualified students as per the schedule notified by the university.

Complete required/ necessary documents must be carried by the candidates with them for the purpose of final admission. Those failing to produce the certificates/ documents will not be considered eligible for admission.
