NEW DELHI: The registration period for the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) 2025 at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi will end tomorrow, October 11. Interested candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can complete their application for IIT JAM 2025 by visiting the official website, Jam2025.lltd.ac.in.
The IIT JAM 2025 examination is set to take place on February 2, 2025, covering seven different test papers. The morning session will run from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, featuring Chemistry (CY), Geology (GG), and Mathematics (MA). In the afternoon, from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm, candidates will tackle Biotechnology (BT), Economics (EN), Mathematical Statistics (MS), and Physics (PH).
For registration, female candidates and those belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), or Persons with Disabilities (PWD) categories will need to pay an application fee of Rs 900 for one test paper and Rs 1,250 for two. All other candidates will incur a fee of Rs 1,800 for one paper and Rs 2,500 for two papers.
If candidates wish to modify their category, gender, test paper, or examination city, an additional fee of Rs 300 will apply. The deadline for making changes to the application form is November 18, 2024. The IIT JAM 2025 admit card will be available for download starting January 6, 2025, and the results are expected to be released on March 19, 2025.
IIT JAM 2025: Exam Centre Information
The JAM 2025 exam will take place in eight designated zones, each with its own set of examination cities listed above. When applying for JAM 2025, candidates are required to indicate their top three city preferences. After selecting their first city, the associated zone will be established, and candidates can then choose their second and third city options exclusively from that same zone
