JEE Main 2024 NIT cut-offs for B.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering

The JEE Main 2024 will be the platform through which the National Institutes of Technology (NITs) will facilitate the admission process for the Bachelor of Technology (BTech) program in Electronics and Communication Engineering.

JEE Main 2024 is scheduled to take place in two sessions, namely January and April, this year. The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will oversee the counseling process for multiple engineering institutes, including 31 NITs. According to the counseling process, 50% of the seats in NITs are allocated for candidates from the host state, while the remaining seats fall under the rest of India quota.

NIT Admission 2024: JEE cut-off 2023 for ECE

The admission process for NIT in the year 2024 will be based on the JEE cut-off scores from 2023 for the Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) program. Last year, JoSAA conducted six rounds of counselling for NIT admissions. The counselling process was conducted separately for unreserved, OBC, SC, and ST categories. Additionally, there were separate counselling sessions for female candidates and differently-abled candidates. In the sixth round of counselling, the cut-off ranks for BTech in Computer Science and Engineering for candidates from the rest of India were as follows:
