What is MET?

Every year, the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) organizes the Manipal Entrance Test (MET) to identify suitable candidates for admission to its affiliated campuses. Candidates can use their MET scores to apply for BTech programs at institutions such as the Manipal Institute of Technology in Manipal, Manipal University in Jaipur, Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology, and Manipal Institute of Technology in Bengaluru. The MET is conducted as a computer-based examination at multiple centers, where candidates will face a series of objective multiple-choice questions.

The Manipal Entrance Test 2025 application form is now available online. Eligible candidates can register to take part in the entrance examination and admission process for MET 2025. Eligibility Criteria for MET 2025

To take part in the Manipal Entrance Test 2025 admission process, candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements.

For BTech Courses – Applicants should have completed their 10+2, A-Level, IB, American 12th grade, or an equivalent examination, with Physics, Mathematics, and English as mandatory subjects. Additionally, they should have one of the following as an optional subject: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or any technical vocational subject. A minimum aggregate score of 50% in Physics, Mathematics, and one optional subject is required.

For Lateral BTech – Candidates must possess a 3-year Diploma in Engineering from the Board of Technical Examination of a State Government or hold a BSc Degree from a recognized University with at least 45% marks. Furthermore, they should have completed their 12th standard with Mathematics as a subject.
