Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth, Pune OverviewTilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth (TMV) was set up in Established In : 1921 as an educational memorial of Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak. It received financial assistance for the campus development in 1987.  In 2000, the Distance Education Council (DEC) granted TMV recognition and after Established In : 2004 due to advancement in technology, the number of students who enrolled for computer and management subjects increased. Along with the core coures which TMV used to offer in Sanskrit, Social Sciences, Ayurveda etc, Vidyapeeth also started offering new courses catering to the students and also catering to the needs of the industrial sector. TMV is known for having state-of-the-art infrastructure, and dedicated faculties for all the courses. TMV has a central library, seminar halls, modern classrooms with laptop and DLP facility.
