Exams, GUTS & Admission Modes

- Used for: BCA, BBA, BA, B.Sc, B.Com, MA, M.Sc, MCA and several others.
- Basis: Board / university marks + document verification.

- Applicable for: a large set of UG & PG programmes across Engineering, Management, Law, Pharmacy, Commerce, IT etc.
- Mode: Online / offline test slots as notified by university.
- Components: Quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, English and basic subject/domain awareness (level-wise).

Mode B — National Level Entrance Tests
For selected programmes, national-level test scores are considered for admission and/or scholarships.
- B.Tech: JEE (Main), CUET UG, HSTES counselling (state engineering) depending on year’s policy.
- Law: CLAT / CUET scores may be considered for integrated law and LLB.
- MBA: CAT / MAT / CMAT / XAT / CUET PG scores often used along with GU selection process.
- Other UG / PG: CUET UG / PG for specific courses as per annual notification.
Mode C — Direct / University-Level Processes
Some programmes involve extra university-level steps such as interview, GD, portfolio or domain test.
- Design / media / hospitality may involve portfolio & PI.
- MBA & PG management programmes may conduct GD-PI.
- Lateral entry & working-professional tracks go through counselling + document verification.
PhD Admissions
PhD admission is through GU PhD entrance test and/or UGC-NET / CSIR-NET / GATE plus interview.
- Eligibility: Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (50% for certain categories) in relevant discipline.

How are scholarships awarded?
Scholarships are based on a combination of:
- GUTS Score (Geeta University Test of Scholarship).
- Percentage in qualifying exam (10+2 / Graduation).
- Scores in national level tests (JEE, NEET, CUET, CAT, MAT, CMAT, CLAT etc.).
- Sports achievements (national / international level).
- Social responsibility categories (Defence / paramilitary, siblings, staff ward, EWS, need-based etc.).
Renewal generally requires maintaining a minimum CGPA and good discipline record.

Typically you will need:
- Class 10 & 12 mark sheets & certificates, and UG mark sheets for PG / PhD.
- Transfer / Migration certificate and Character certificate.
- Entrance exam scorecard (CUET / JEE / CAT / etc., if applicable).
