The course structure is designed by the faculty of the college with the discussion of the departments at VTU and IISc. In order to take admission into MSRIT UG level courses, an applicant should have passed 12th with at least 50% from a recognized board and selection depends on the score of the entrance test as per the course. For admission to the PG level courses, an applicant should have a Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks or aggregate. The criteria for selection depend on the score of the entrance test. The placement percentage of MRIT is around 95% and more than 150 companies visit the college for recruitment every year and 50 lakh per annum was the highest package offered to the student. MSRIT has a dedicated placement and training cell that helps to improve the skills and prepare the students for interviews at prospective workplaces. MSRIT has the best infrastructure with Wi-Fi connectivity in Bangalore. The campus of MSRIT is spread over 25 acres. Hostel facility is available for students.
