Ch.S.D.St. Theresa’s College was established in 1953 by sisters of St. Ann of Providence, Secunderabad. It offers Intermediate, Degree and Postgraduate courses to the young lady understudies. The school was subsidiary to the Andhra University which allowed self-sufficiency to the degree area during the year 1987-88. The school was surveyed by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in 1998, 2005 and 2012 and was granted ‘A’ Grade with Top Score. The University Grants Commission presented the honor of COLLEGE WITH POTENTIAL FOR EXCELLENCE in the year 2005. The College is as of now associated to Adikavi Nannaya University, Rajamahendravaram.

St. Theresa’s College is a Catholic Minority Institution, however it is available to every one of the understudies too. In completing its points the school as a minority establishment, saves for itself its characteristic and unavoidably perceived privileges of Management and Administration. Girls Hostel

An Integral part of the college are the hostels on the two campuses. Facilities are available for about 750 students who are under the supervision of the wardens and assistant wardens. The resident staff also help them to feel at home.
Gym

The 1500 sq ft gym is equipped with Treadmill, twisters, fit kit., etc., wherein the students enjoy the facilities to keep themselves fit for life & fit for the job.
Library

P.G Library is located on the 1st floor of the P.G Extension Block in degree campus Degree Library is situated on the first floor of the P.G. Block. Intermediate Library is situated on the first floor of the left wing of the old college building.

The college has sports facilities for all students.

The College has a canteen in the campus, which provides working lunch, snacks & cool drink etc. Canteen facility is provided in the Degree Campus and in the Inter Campus.
Auditorium

A magnificent structure built in a plinth area of 84000sft. Can accommodate 2000 students, The stage is artistically decorated and contains an area of 84000sq.ft.

The college has a health center along with first aid facility for the students.
